Well that's 3 times I've now used the new big sharp knife, and 3 times I've cut myself!
Just as well the chainsaw hasn't arrived yet. My wife wants me to get up on a ladder to use it. This is rather worrying me because:
1. I don't like heights and suffer from vertigo.
2. I have a poor sense of balance (that surfing holiday was an embarrassment)
3. I am accident-prone
I'll have to find my books, but not sure of Healthy extras on SE.0 -

Make her do it then.:rotfl:
Seriously I can't stand on a chair to change a light bulb without feeling dizzy so completely understand your worry.
I once passed out in a cable car on holiday too.I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

Had a letter back today from the 'fat clinic' which was basically a copy of the letter sent back to my GP. They are asking me to lose 3.3kg in 3 months = 7lb is certainly doable :rotfl:Will see where i go from there. Have my first workshop tomorrow on sugars so should be interesting too and gets me out the house for a few hours.
Tonight i have made some 'syn free' lemon curd. Debatable about syn value as if you juice lemons they become syns but i cant see me eating 2 lemons worth of lemon curd and all i can say so far is its yummy - only licked the bowl cos banjo taught me :rotfl::D
Recipe if anyone wants it is
4 eggs
2 lemons, juiced and zested
6tbsps of sweetener.
3tbsp of fromage frais
whisk eggs and sweetener in a bowl, add juice and zest of lemon to this and place over a pan of simmering water. Continue to stir until thickened. This is anything between 10-15 mins keep an eye on it and remove as thickened because any longer you will have scrambled eggs.
Allow to cool for a moment before adding fromage frais. Stir through thoroughly and pour into a steralized jar. Let cool fully before refridgerating.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Making sure that you have at least 2/3rds sf and 1/3rd free. Any snacks must be fruit and when using syns they must be the highest syn value available for example the green day value for a sausage. Meals are to follow EE
What's SE Steph? Would it help me as i'm really struggling atm.
I've never managed to stick to a diet for more than 4 weeks as it's always the same for me. I stop losing weight after a few weeks.
I'm contemplating going to the doctor's to get my thyroid tested as my sister has exactly the same trouble & has to have hers checked regularly.I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

I saw some woman on FB used this to make Lemon Meringue puddings minus the pastry.I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.
