    Happy Birthday Lucky- legs! :bdaycake:

Just had a spooky experience. Went to put rubbish out and there was a bouquet of pink carnations placed by the bin.

No message, nothing. Just got a chill that they are meant for my Mam, so it will be off to the Cemetery again after lunch.

It's horrible out, very cold, sleeting and windy. :(

Aww fancy leaving the flowers out like that, why not knock the door so at least you know who they are from :(

Its almost 2 years since i lost my mom but i dont take anything to the crem as they told us at her service they dont leave the flowers more than a day or so before discarding due to the volume left which is a shame.

Had my lunch. Kids got the Gammon from M&S, spuds, carrots, cauli, broccoli. peas and sweetcorn to go with, made roast spuds at home as well as mash but i didnt have any of that now waiting to use some syns on some trifle :D

Weather here is pants it keeps snowing and i hate the stuff.

    ..... .

I know, and why leave them round the side by the bin (where I found the abandoned kitten a couple of Christmases ago) instead of by the front door?

    It's puzzling us no end

Beginning to think we have a poltergeist.

Last night a door upstairs slammed so hard, the photo of my Mam and Dad fell off the wall. There was no- one upstairs, no windows open, no draught or anything.

Then later in evening, DS came downstairs to say there was a horrible smell on the landing. We went to investigate, wife and DD retched with what they said was putrid smell. But I couldn't smell anything. It passed after 10 mins.

Then of course came the incident when half a tube of roast chicken Pringles completely disappeared. ;).

The flowers today were just like the ones my Mam used to send to everyone from Flying Flowers.

Hope everyone has had a lovely day :A

:T on the loss! I hope you get it all sorted with the doctor, it's a worrying time for you. Do feel free to whine and moan as much as you like. It's what friends are for!

I don't know if you can have post-infection fatigue syndrome sharalee but I've been feeling washed out since 4 programmes of anti-biotics. I really didn't fancy eating meals and was just snacking on the odd teacake or couple of biscuits with a cuppa. Result was I lost weight and fell below target.

I'm back on plan now, healthy eating has got to help!!

Happy Birthday lucky-legs and thanks for the lovely Mothers' Day message. :)

I had the egg, toast and mushrooms breakfast (courtesy of DH) but a slice of bacon on mine too! Planning a lovely chicken roast for later, not sure what in between.

Going to make some curry sauce today or tomorrow to use up LO chicken. I've got curry powder and also most likely spices. I like tomatoey jalfrezi/bhuna type curries rather than creamy ones. Favourite recipes anyone?

The post viral fatigue thing, it's what the doctor said, so I can only go on that. I had a bout of 'flu before Christmas and she thinks its that still. I don't know, but what ever it is, it makes me feel like I'm walking through treacle most of the time, and I just can't get enough rest, even if I sleep for 10 or 12 hours.

Hope everyone has enjoyed Mother's Day, and hugs to those that don't have theirs anymore, and to those that want to be mums, but aren't yet.

As i have mentioned many times my son whom is also a member of SW goes to the gym a few times a week. The gym he uses has a FB page. On this page during the week they had a status update reading as follows -

Trying to lose weight and drinking plenty of water? Did you know tap water is very high in sodium (salt)? Sodium causes the body to retain water so try switching to bottled water with a lower sodium level - the current lowest one is Highland spring.

Anyone else heard anything else like this?

Thank you all, I've had a lovely day :)

But a cheesecake that had been left over from Christmas fell out of the freezer earlier and now it's defrosted so I'm going to have to share a bit with the hubby and kids! :D
