    hi everyone,
been absent for a few days but I hope everyone is ok/in good spirits.

sorry to hear you're having a bit of a pants time sharalee -don't concentrate on weighing in just focus on you.

weighed myself at the gym to see a 2lb gain which whilst annoying isn't entirely unexpected as we went to pizza hut this week and i had pizza and an ice cream factory and I have indulged a little a work events this week too (bacon sandwich, sausage sandwiches, glass of wine, two glasses of fruit juice, canapes, mini cakes...not all on the same day though!) and I have no developed a scratchy throat and a cold so really the last thing I feel like doing is putting any effort in to food :/

going to try for a good week this week, bf is away wednesday night so I'm thiing that night I will have sausage (2skinny lizzies) and mash+veggies.
I am finding that porridge isn't keeping me full long at work but thei eat breakfast at 7am, at work for nine so its already two hours after breakfast when I start. started having my banana around 9.30 rather than with my porridge to keep me going but think I'm going to try and mix it upa bit and have bran flakes or porridge or something different each day.

lunches this week will be leftover spag bol, cauliflower soup (twice) sandwich/wrap.

dinner tonight is cottage pie, tomorrow spag bol and garlic bread, tuesday not sure as i will be in late due to starting a leadership and management course- mit tell bf to get himself a take out and sort myself once home, wednesday sausage and mash, thursday chicken, bacon and cheese grill with chips for bf mash for me, friday chicken rice and veg sauce. well that's what I will try for! will go to the gym after work on wednesday and friday, take a walk each lunch time

hopefully I get this 2lb shifted to be back bang on target at the end of the week!!

Hope all the mothers on here have a lovely day, hugs to those who's mothers are no longer here (I've not had mine for the past 18 mothers days :( ) .... I'm going to try to be a good girl today but no promises; my hubby cooked me egg on 1 slice of wholmeal toast (B) with mushrooms for breakfast, but as it's mothers day and my birthday all rolled into one today I think you'll all allow me a little wander off track today :) x

    Morning all
Well not as bad as I feared. Not quite sure how tho!
    I recorded a loss of -1lb.
That's one of the pounds off I put on last week.
I was seriously expecting a gain. (probably catch up with me next weight in lol)
Back on it seriously now. Eating properly is part of the recovery of the Post viral fatigue thing.

Thank you all for your kind words yesterday :)

Off to work shortly. Have a fine day, whatever you are doing :)

:T on the loss! I hope you get it all sorted with the doctor, it's a worrying time for you. Do feel free to whine and moan as much as you like. It's what friends are for!

I don't know if you can have post-infection fatigue syndrome sharalee but I've been feeling washed out since 4 programmes of anti-biotics. I really didn't fancy eating meals and was just snacking on the odd teacake or couple of biscuits with a cuppa. Result was I lost weight and fell below target.

I'm back on plan now, healthy eating has got to help!!

Happy Birthday lucky-legs and thanks for the lovely Mothers' Day message. :)

I had the egg, toast and mushrooms breakfast (courtesy of DH) but a slice of bacon on mine too! Planning a lovely chicken roast for later, not sure what in between.

Going to make some curry sauce today or tomorrow to use up LO chicken. I've got curry powder and also most likely spices. I like tomatoey jalfrezi/bhuna type curries rather than creamy ones. Favourite recipes anyone?

I made the classic chicken curry from the curry heaven cook book the other night and it was surprisingly nice, but have been told by our stand in consultant to try the yellow chicken curry recipe featured in this edition of the mag as it will knock socks off all those in the curry book.
