Morning all,
I've decided to jump on board with this thread! I'm at target having lost 2st 10lb since March, but think i'll drop it by another half a stone.
EE day for me today,
B magic pancakes with melon and banana (HEB oats)
L lentil and bacon soup, clementines x2
D Beef casserole
HEA is milk for brews
I'm off to town today so will probably use my syns on a brew and a bit of cake or something.0 -

If it's original you can't have SW chips with your tea.
Sorry:o

Hanha. Thought it looked too good to be true. I won't bother with the chips then. Will save some faffing about.January Grocery Challenge £80 / £80 - Jan 1st to 31st NSDs: Jan 04/10

I am trying to fill in some of the blanks in my food diary for the week gone. I had a 'day off' for which I am misusing flexible syns.
Do any of you know how many syns in brandy butter
Many thanks in advance!
RR
Is that the cream or sauce as this is all i can find syn values for. Alternatively if you can tell us shop/ brand name and the actual item on here then it may make a search better to use.
Co-op extra thick cream with brandy is 3.5syns per tbsp and Bird's brandy sauce ambient packet is 4.5 syns per 100g as examples.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Pasta in sauce has now got a syn value of 4.5 according to the new books but the old ones it was free. So as meal plans would go i think i would just go along with them as they would be pretty much current as the website updates things all the times, the books would only be once a year.
Yikes, the website has been telling me Pasta n sauce value as free for broccoli and cheese, only updated my online diary on Friday with it! Will have to have a look in the books too! Thanks Stef..will go and check xxWk 120 weeks till my hols....little steps, 7lb goals....lets see where it takes me! A thousand miles begin with one little step! . I have decided (being a slightly out of target member
) to stop going to group and just use the amazing support online here.
I'll do a once the month trip to keep my account live at group.
Despite letting go of the reins over Christmas, I haven't gained so much that my current clothes don't fit so I can spend my petrol money else whereI will lose more once my body has kicked out of panic mode, but I am going down the exercise path now. 6 stone in 8 months isn't something to sniff at is it? I might save for the Fitbit I have heard so much about.
That is truly awesome Shellieholly! I've been nearly the same time as you and you can see my weight loss below, but I'm OK with that really.0 -

We do EE and my whole family love SW chips. The trick is very hot oven, hot tin and plenty of fry-lite. Make sure you par-boil the chips for just 4 mins prior to draining.
My hubby had ordinary chips out one day and said he much prefers SW chips now because they taste healthier.0 -

Anyone guess how im spending my saturday night?
Sitting with the old and new books on my lap, a pen in one hand and a highlighter in the other. Going over every item in the syns list marking them on which has gone up or down in value between books so i do not become complacent with 'thinking' i know all the syn values and i am shocked at how many things have changed, alot are only subtle changes like 0.5 syns here and there but others are considerably more. Will carry on for now as only just made it past the bakery items
That's a great idea Stef ... why didn't I think of that? I read you comment about the skimmed milk which I hadn't realised.Thanks.0 -

Hi Steffens
I had half of a 170g tub which I bought from A farm shop. From the look and taste of it (delicious) I'd say it was made the good old fashioned way. So the ingredients are probably butter, sugar and brandy. I,should be able to hazard a guess at it from that I suppose!January Grocery Challenge £80 / £80 - Jan 1st to 31st NSDs: Jan 04/10
