stef~ so how do you feel about about what the women this afternoon said now you have had time to think about it more?
Trying to get my head around some aspects of what was said as opposed to what we are taught in group for instance, asked what bread i would have at home - wholemeal 400g loaf. Her response - you shouldnt really be having that but i suppose its better than white because it contains fibre can you swap to granary, the more seeds on it the better as this helps it travel through the digestive system better whereas wholemeal just sits in the gut and ferments. I love seeded bread and would eat it till it came out my ears but in SW its synned and im petrified of swapping too much for the weight to come on as opposed to being peeved that it is sitting stagnant or little tiny losses.
I suppose after looking at weight loss options last year for my son SW won the race because it meant no weighing or measuring - now i have to weigh everything in TBSPS for them to see if i am getting the correct amounts everyday.
So as well as sticking to SW i now have to bear in mind - 5-7 portions of fruit and or veg a day (easily done), 5-7 portions of breads/cereals/potatoes (baring in mind that SW tells us just one of the breads/cereals and one portion is 2 egg sized spuds),
2-3 dairy foods (similar quantities of milk and cheese but again without synning we only get one milk or cheese the rest is to come from yogurts or cottage cheese bleurgh) then i get a treat of just 100cals a day Oh and 2-3 meat, fish or alternatives a day.
It seems alot to get your head around when being on one plan then someone else coming along looking at it saying whoa there your nowhere near the mark on what you are eating while theres also the voice telling you that you need to be looking at losing 500cals minimum in order to lose any weight at all.
So the easiest thing i think at the minute for me so i dont get lost along the way is to follow SW, swap my long grain rice to basmati as recommended today, use up remaining wm loaf then get the seeded one on the HEB list and up spuds and pasta each day to see where i go from there. While submitting yet more food diaries to be handed over to the dietician incase i need referring in that direction too:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Lunchwise your superfrees arent really hitting the target either whereas your tea would have been a SW recipe and therefore they would have a side note attached if you needed to serve with any extra veggies or salad to achieve you 1/3rd quota. Other than that it looks a lovely well balanced meal.:):j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Thanks so much! I knew things just didn't look right today! I have made some soup for my lunch tomorrow packed with super frees so I'm hoping I do a better job then!

All sounds a bit confusing Stef but go with it for a few weeks if you can and just see where it takes you...what do you have to lose? (yes I know some weight!
) I think you could end up learning alot in the classes they are offering and it might be really interesting x
