Was your toast wm and within SW allowed HEB limits? If so because you are meat free today you could save syns and use the toast as your 2nd heb :)

Unfortunately not - was a small slice cut from a yummy but far-too-expensive loaf we bought at a farmers market ;)

    was yumptious though.

First tip i would personally give anyone embarking on SW is not to start changing your eating habits before sign up if the readings on the scales are going to be important to you, If you start prior to registration you will see lower loses on your first week than others who sign up at the same time.
Secondly if you want to get a good idea of the volume of food you should be eating then look on the website at the sample menu. Looking at your menu you are trying to go down the healthy menu route blind folded. The volume of fruit and veg you have will possibly pale in comparison to what you should be eating. As many members on here will say if you start eating the same things over and over your body adapts to those and loses will be slower so variation is also key.

Thanks for the advise, I've had another look at the magazine and the website and tried to make it more adventurous and added a LOT of salad etc.. Here's my food diary for the last few days:-

    03/03/13
Breakfast- Satsuma. Two slices of bacon (grilled, fat noteaten), half slice 50/50 bread toasted and ½ tin of beans

Lunch- Cajun chicken and sweet potato (cooked in bag withseasoning)and mixed baby leaf salad and rocket

Tea - Couscous + red onion, cucumber, tomatoes, corianderand lemon juice

    Satsuma

    SMALL MEASURE THORNTONSLIQUER

    04/03/13

B- Porridge (made with water) and 1 dessertspoon of honey

L- Boiled egg, mixed leaves and rocket, beetroot

Snack –SW butternut soup (potato replaced with sweet potato)
    Satsuma

Tea – whole-wheat spaghetti, mushrooms and tin ofratatouille

SMALL MEASURE THORNTONSLIQUER + 1 x sherbet saucer
I decided losing weight as soon as possible (+ not putting any more on) was more important to me that waiting for an accurate first weigh in. I have allowed myself to finish off my Thornton's liquer and will probably have the 1/2 duck in the freezer with my daughter tonight before I start for real! However, you were quite right, I've been on the scales and it show a 3lb loss in 3 days!!!, and it actually a 5lb loss since I'd weighed myself last week but I think that because I'd weighed myself at the end of the day.
Really looking forward to my class tomorrow and finding out how to 'do it properly'.

I've bought a whole case of kellogs mini breaks original from 'Appoved food' this morning, anyone know what sins they are on SW? I think I'll be doing EE like my friend did. If they are bad I'll just put them in the kids pack ups!

With SW all fat should be removed prior to cooking not afterwards. Your bread should be Wholemeal not 50/50 - if you were following the plan to the t then it would need to be synned.
Mini breaks are 5 syns per packet.
