Thanks for that. Knew how to quote but often wondered how to multi-quote.

Curry looks delicious! May have to try that
Er...another not-great day. Had a very busy day, and up until 5pm-ish did okay. Was absolutley starving as i've walked a fair few miles with the buggy today, so started looking for somewhere I could have a baked potato so I wouldn't eat rubbish. Nowhere had any, and had to stop somewhere to feed DS so ended up having chips. I think this is probably a case of planning preventing p*** poor performance.
B: Porridge and spoonful jam (1 syn) with milk from HEA
L: Subway turkey and ham sandwich with salad (9 syns for bread)Chilli beef noodles (recipe off SW site) with a few odds and ends of veg from the fridge
S: Melon and grape pot, carrot sticks with reduced fat houmus (2 syns), a muller light, 2 crispbread HEB and fat free cottage cheese
Bought more muller lights, fruit and veg, and stuff for low syn dips (i have a thing for carrot sticks) so hopefully tomorrow will be better. More walkies and painting the bedroom tomorrow to burn some more off, and hopefully a better day food-wise.
Anyone know any good homemade/tinned soup that's low syn or free?0 -
Today...
Breakfast - Porridge (HEB) with banana and berries
Lunch - Chicken and spinach salad with cous cous (2 for dressing)
Dinner - Sainsbury's extra lean sausages with veg (1)
Snacks - Fruit, ff yogurt, alpen light (3), crackers (4) and cheese (HEA)
Drinks - Water, water and more water
Can't believe how nice the sausages were - nicest ones I've had in a long time! Used my treat syns on crackers which I don't normally do, but was in more of a savoury mood than sweet tonight.
Picked up the variety pack of flavoured popcorn at Sainsbury's this week as well, just over 50 calories (2.5 syns) per bag. Looking forward to trying them, could make a good low syn treat.Mismatched wrote: »Anyone know any good homemade/tinned soup that's low syn or free?
Take a look at the HE list, there's quite a few that qualify as a HEB. Careful though, as some are only half the tin as a portion. Almost positive (don't have my books at the moment) that the Baxter country garden veg one is the full tin.
I think most homemade soups already are or can easily be adapted to be free by omitting cream and such.0 -

Good evening, hope everyone is well. :A
I haven't been able to post recently as my laptop broke again & had gone off to Samsung to get a new hard disk. I've managed to nad my daughter's in the mean time.
I lost 1lb 2 oz's this week which i'm reasonably happy with. I've accepted the fact that i'm going to lose it slowly & it doesn't matter as long as I lose it. :A
B - Red onion, green pepper & mushroom omelette with 1 slice 400g wholemeal toast & an Alpen Light cereal bar (HEB). Milk in tea (HEA).
L - jacket spud with beans, an apple & a pear.
D - Chicken kebab, rice with peas & sweetcorn, carrots & broccoli.
S - Aldi rice cake covered with chocolate (4 syns) Aldi rice cake covered with yoghurt 4 (syns).
P - Muller Light yoghurt.I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

Hi all,
Well done Rob and BCS on your lossesI put on 2.5lb
not sure it's entirely justified but since that's what the scales said, so be it. Funny though, a lot of people gained- a lot expected it but some didn't. I think from 50 people getting weighed there was a total loss of 51lb but a total gain of 48 - must be the week for it!
Anyway, the blow was softened somewhat because I won our class greatest loser  I didn't even know they were doing it so to say I was shocked was an understatement! I got a sash, a lovely bunch of flowers and most importantly a shiny sticker for my bookIt's certainly motivated me to stop messing around and really dig my heels in to lose the rest of this weight before our friend's wedding.
EE today:
B: Bran flakes (B), milk (A), raisins (3.5), banana
L: Ainsley mushroom couscous (1.5), chicken and prawns, salad, satsuma
T: L/O lamb curry, rice
S: Pineapple, Spiral (6)
Good luck to anyone weighing in today2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]
