I'm fairly sure that will be the case.....do I get some sort of special allowance for putting on weight/celebrating this weekend (and next!) as it's my birthday on Mothers Day - I don't think it's very fair, I only get one special day instead of two!

    Anyway meals today...(green)

    B - 2 x weetabix (B), Milk (A), banana
L - 4 ryvita dark rye (B), egg mayonaise (1 syn), cress, muller, apple
T - Jacket potato, 45g low fat cheddar (A), tin heinz spag bol (3 syns)

Hope you get some sense at your appointment stef. I'm fascinated to know what advice they have to give. Good luck and don't be nervous. I'm sure you won't let them get off lightly if they try to waffle.:)

    hi everyone,

my visitors gone home now so can get back on track, been hard to cook my usual curries, chilli and spicy meals for salad dodging spuds and meat lovers.. not gone over board but not exactly stuck to plan either.. any loss will be a miracle this week but not to worry, WI not till thurs so time to salvage a bit of damage I guess :)

good luck with the appointment stef..

Well im back i survived!! Time to waffle :o

Was weighed and had height done. Baring in mind i was stupid enough to go in my jeans im only half a pound heavier today on the gp scales than i am at group so remembering i weigh in wearing leggings i think i can say im heading towards a loss this week.
She took all the info down about joining SW, my start weight and the weight i were on thursday. Said that in itself is an acheivement beyond what they normally see so thats either a confidence booster or perhaps im not as naff at this as i feel :o
She has looked over my food diaries from both SW and the one i had to fill in for her and said looking at it at a quick glance im not having enough from the breads/pasta/potatoes section. Ideally should be swapping wholemeal for grainy bread so once this little loaf has been used up i shall buy the seeded one that has now become heb and look to see how else i can introduce more of the others.
Realistically wanted me to stop slimming world and go by their advice alone but when explained that my main objective for joining up was my son she said to carry on going along and will see what help i can get from both sides. So i have signed up to go on a course, next lesson is next tuesday and is a workshop on sugars. My food diaries are being referred to the dietician to look over to see if there is anything being missed. Will go back and see her in 3 weeks time with more food diaries and its my choice whether i weigh in at group, the workshop or in her sessions - cant be doing with 3 different weights so going to stick to SW and let her know how i have gotten on this week.

Only major pain in the bum is having to get weights of what i will be eating ok in SW porridge is 28g sachet or 35g bag which i have just worked out for this food diary is either 4 or 5 tbsps or 1 portion of carbs, the daily guidlines portions thingymebob is 5-7 portions from that section a day
Going to read the rest of the bumf but glancing it over its pretty much SW in a can.

Thank you all for the encouragement it means a lot.

How on earth can he still see/stand to make cheese on toast?
    I'd be unconscious! :rotfl:
