Well I still haven't a clue what I fancy for dinner tonight. Some fish I think. I shall peruse the aisles in Sainsburys before the school run.

My leader said at meeting that if you take the skin off a rotisserie chicken then its free, that and a bagged salad is fine. You could microwave a jacket potato to have with it or shred it and have it with stir-fry veg and some of the free straight to wok noodles.

We've been told by our consultant if you have rotisserie chicken it has to be synned as they inject them with oil to keep them moist - not sure how true this is and whether it depends on the supermarket, but one member had the Asda ones a few times and gained/STS every time, so could be some truth in it.

Been told exactly the same in group because a few people had mentioned picking them up in morrisons for a quick midweek roast to save time and almost keeled over at the prospect of uncounted syns.

Banjo I have nagged you enough this week and as you are grieving will leave you alone today ;) I am disappointed you didn't think to share that chocolate though :p

For tea i picked up some chicken breast fillets so we are having a midweek roast all veggies in the pressure cooker now waiting to be switched on.

After the discussion on the Maggi meals this past week or so Home bargains have had some in - saw them earlier. I have picked up a chunky chilli con carne one for 19p!! All you do is throw diced lean beef, tin of toms, onions, kidney beans and i suppose for us SW'ers a few more SF's into the bag with the mix and bung in oven for 75 mins i think it said. Just need to look up the syn value in a min. This has to be worth a consideration if it saves upto an hour slaving over the stove surely? Just used the syn calculator and this one is coming in at 6 syns per packet!

Theres no stipulation as to whether we choose white or wholegrain pastas/spaghettis etc so you can have either but obviously the white wont have the fibre content.

    L. Beef savoury rice with 1 quorn sausage (1 syn)
    D. SW cheesy mushroom pasta (with some of yesterdays LO chicken chucked in (2.5 syns) I love this recipe :D

Oh I forgot..I also had a banana and a mullerlight at lunch time, and I'll have a side salad with tea. I keep a box of chopped salad in the fridge for when there's no veg with meals.

Didn't have anything at breakfast tho :o
