Thanks Stef, it always puzzled me why I was lighter on my own scales on Wednesday, than I was on the same scales on Thursday - despite eating so little for next days WI.

It's hard to say how I feel today, for behind the light hearted facade, I'm very sad today. It is the funeral of the lovely priest who was with our parish such a short time. He took my Mam's funeral despite being very poorly himself late 2011. It must of been one of his last duties he performed before succumbing. He was only 51 :(

That's why I baked a cake today. To feel closer to my Mam, who taught me how to cook/bake.

Sending you some great BIG bear hugs Banjo :grouphug: bighug.gif

What a lovely way to remember them both. I'm sure you're forgiven for licking the bowl.:)

Glad the 'talk' went well sukey. I know you said you had put a few pounds on but if you keep following SW as you were before you could end up under target (I speak from expensive exerience;)). Obviously, if you have loads of syns at the weekend you won't!:rotfl:

Thanks Maman, I don't go to group so luckily I don't have to pay if I stray to far from target - I was just more annoyed with myself for losing control of what I was eating/drinking. I think I will try to get back down to my personal target by sticking to plan as closely as possible over the next week or two and then maybe relaxing a little bit after that but not as much as I did recently
  • Well I still haven't a clue what I fancy for dinner tonight. Some fish I think. I shall peruse the aisles in Sainsburys before the school run.

    B. muller light vanilla yog with 35g muesli (Hex B)
    L. Apple. Lick of chocolate cake mix AND melted chocolate covering 10 syns?
    D. TBA

I'm trying to come up with free or low syn dinner ideas for the times when I really can't be bothered to cook or prepare dinner. Something that I can maybe take out of a pack and heat up rather than ordering a takeway.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

My leader said at meeting that if you take the skin off a rotisserie chicken then its free, that and a bagged salad is fine. You could microwave a jacket potato to have with it or shred it and have it with stir-fry veg and some of the free straight to wok noodles.

  • LOL at you lot :rotfl:

I've bought some pollack, baby leaf spinach and broccoli. Thinking of baking the pollack in a roasting bag with lemon juice, chilli, ginger and 'erbs.

I'm sat here freezing in my car waiting for DS. I'm not running the engine, because if I burn energy to keep myself warm, I should lose weight doing so - right?

How come the only thing I've noticed as feeling looser after all this time are my shoes? My feet are sliding about in them :)
