Sukeyboo - depends on what soups i do but most of them are blended. Soups were mentioned in group last night and all we were told was as long as you are making them from scratch and sticking to SW ways of doing them i.e. no oils/creams etc then they would still be free and a brilliant way of upping the sf's.

Thanks Stef - I will buy that blender now - I do prefer my soups on the smooth side! :T

    Hello :j

Breakfast was good. Bacon, eggs, tomatos, wholemeal toast. Smidge of brown sauce (synful that last bit)
Lunch wasn't. I dropped my phone! It could have been worse. Now feeling very full and wondering how to play it this evening. Clearly I should eat something. Just not very much. Preferably mainly superfree. Ideas?

By the way I think the blended thing applies to fruit like smoothies or juices. The principle being that you can consume large amounts of calories in one hit.

    Hi all..

I'm new to this thread and too SW in general.

I've always followed WW and lost 4s 9lb for my 2010 wedding however following a job change from a very active one to an office job full of women who love their food and customers who bring in treats every week I seem to have lost all willpower and now weight more than ever.

On FB last week I saw a girl I used to go to school with over 13 years ago is setting up a shiney new SW Club near me opening night is Monday so I am going to bite the bullet and join, I'm hoping the shame of weighing in in front of an ex school pupil will spur my weight loss on. I'm already embarrassed at the though but know that this will encourage me to stick to it knowing that she'll be there at the scales each week so ill be aiming for losses

I'm hoping the weightloss switch will stay on as I'm so unhappy with my weight and I think my whole family will benefit from a change in eating habits!!

No idea on how I'm going to be with SW as I'm so used to the WW method but I'm hoping a new start and a new method and out look to weight loss will help the new me.

Apologies for gate crashing but I'm hoping once I join my local SW Class Monday this thread will the steel toe cap boot I'll need kicking up my behind every now and then along my weightless journey.

Welcome! There are no gates here... just open doors and comfy virtual cushions.
My friend swtiched from WW to SW a month before christmas and lost a stone - she loved how much more she could eat, how much easier it was, and adores the fact that she can have pasta and potato till the cows come home. (So to speak ;) )

    Good Luck for today.

Well, I am not doing very well with my "getting back on the wagon" here. Every morning starts fine, but by lunch I aim nibbling what I shouldn't me. So it's time to roll out the duh duh duuuu .... Food Diary. :rotfl:
I have decided in my wisdom that queuing to get round the gym stuff is stupid when it turns a 40 minute work out into a 1 hour 30 minute:eek: regime. So looking for other ideas there.
Going to sit down today and make out the weeks meal plan. We are still waiting on our benefits payment, after hubby was made redundant mid December. It's not going to be a pretty menu as it's a "eat my way through the frozen stuff" Fortunately most of it is meat and veg.:j

Good luck to those that weigh in today.
Weekends are always the hardest to get through for me, so it's plan plan plan!

Is anyone on here a veggie or a vegan? I am following a diary free and meat free diet for health reasons, and was hoping it would help shift the lbs as well.
Put on 3 st in last 6 months, due to being less mobile due to illness and putting lots of biscuits in my mouth!

Started my healthy eating on the 2nd and weighed myself this am, lost 1/2lb! Was hoping for more.

Think if I write it down, I might stick to it better!
Still in bed but will list my menu for today and then get up.

B weatabix with banana and soya milk
L left over Italian bean stew- from SW mag
D salmon with soy sauce and chilli, with veg and pots
