Perhaps my consultant is on the fiddle then. She always seems to be adjusting the books to cover for someone being off ill or on holiday that hasnt notified prior to weigh in night. She also seems to have her favourites too many of whom have never lost history when rejoined but have been given new books etc.

Maybe she is because I thought it ran from when you joined as well. Saying that though, our consultant also has people who have rejoined and kept their history etc, not sure of the ins and outs of whether they have to pay to rejoin etc as I help with the weighing rather than the money side of things but it does seem a bit of a grey area. I suppose if it's that or people will walk out and never come again they'll do whatever they can to keep them?

Moomin - I like the WW yogurts (they are better than most other stuff in the WW range IMO) and Asda and Sains have got packs of 4 for £1 at the moment. I've got the dessert recipe ones and they're lovely, not as artificially sweet as Mullerlights :)

Can you try and have more SF with your breakfast and tea?
The satsuma wouldnt be enough to cover it and with your evening meal you have mushy peas which are great as a SS but there's no SF.

I know some have commented that you are eating a lot but i dont think you are when you see the size of some of the meals on the Meal plans online. Just try and up the superfrees at each meal you eat through the day and i am sure your losses will pick up.

I almost had heart attack writing up the amount of food i should be eating on SE as its loads more than i usually would eat. I jokingly said to one lady on my facebook group i am going to end up looking like a berry by then end of the week:o:o

The french do something called boulangerie potatoes which I love, are syn free and moist so you dont need gravey. Slice potatoes layer in oven proof dish, for each layer add some sliced onions, and keep layering. Poor over beef stock - I use a stock pot cover with foil for 40 mins on 200 and leave uncovered in over for further 40 mins delish :)

I like these and sometimes mix mushrooms in with the onion mixture, good for when there's some sad ones lurking in the fridge. I often use cooked/parboiled potatoes (as I do with my dauphinoise) just to make sure they cook properly. And another thing I always do is soften my onions in the microwave before frying. I always think raw onions take an age to soften/brown with frylight.

This is a good potato recipe too

always look pretty for a special supper.

    1. Are there any supermarket brand yoghurts that are the same as mullerlight and therefore free?

    2. The leader said we were only allowed 6 weeks off a year from meetings and these had to be booked...is that right?! I pay weekly so should it not be more 'pay as you go'? Can they force you to pay for missed weeks?

You can buy plain FF yogurt from supermarkets (you'll find out which are free when you log-in) and add to bananas or other fruit. I'm not a huge yogurt fan so find buying plain more versatile.

They won't do 'pay as you go' as they want to make as much money as possible. They will make exceptions for illness provided you let the consultant know. You can go to any group you like whether on a temporary or permanent basis when you pay weekly. Some people pop into a group near work if they know they can't get home in time for their regular group.

My 'nice but dim' consultant seems very relaxed about illness and odd missed weeks but I think that's because she's so disorganised that she doesn't always make a note when people have emailed/texted her to let her know. When I was ill over Christmas she did an over-run when it asked me to pay.

I missed having new books when I was ill. Existing members were getting them in the Christmas school holidays. My choice if I wanted books was to rejoin (and lose history) or pay £10 for the books. As I've got access to the site I didn't bother.

Logic tells me that if you miss more than a couple of weeks and get charged, it's cheaper to rejoin. Then sell your new books on ebay? Surely that can't be right??

The 6 weeks holiday thing is annually from when you join not from Jan to Dec. I only know that because I have just had 4 weeks off on holiday and when I booked it I was told I couldn't have any more holiday until after July, which was the month I originally joined.

Dread to think how much I've put on during my month's holiday in France with all that lovely, crusty french bread:rotfl:. Back to weigh in on Thursday morning but expecting a hefty gain.

    Denise

Holiday is definately from the date you joined for a year

Denise - interested to see how you do - when my brother was living in Spain and was told to loose weight - they suggested eating alot of bread (the fresh stuff not the processed stuff we get from supermarkets) to loose weight - it works over there - i think it has something to do with the fresh yeast etc.:o

Maybe to prevent the issues you have mentioned.

I would say so, yeah - there's been a bit of weirdness over the batchelor's ones for the same reasons but if you've put the NVs in I would count it as free :)
