    Hello hello hello
    Ok
I'm having a lovely housework ey stay at home day which also allows me to do some healthy batch cooking
Last week I cooked and froze some butter beans and a load of good quality stewing beef in slow cooker then shredded it and froze in the stock-both of these in individual portions( Morrisons do some snack bags for kids!) , I found these two ingredients invaluable .I am also rediscovering herbs and spices and found a site slimming world faerie who have a lot of ingredients I love-

    Hea milk
    HEB

    Breakfast
Kiwi fruits and cous cous cooked in sf squash

    Lunch
Puy Lentils with green beans chopped tomatoes spices onion garlic-edit rock salt for seasoning afterwards a must
    Watermelon

    Dinner
Chicken meatballs ( ground chicken and tofu)- new recipe first time cooking with tofu

    Morning all,

Well done Nearlyrich and Fannyanna on your losses, and good luck to those weighing in tonight :)
Thanks, but I don't think I can healthily reduce my portion sizes anymore! I feel like because I've been on WW's my portion sizes, especially of carbs, have been very small (40g pasta or rice) and I'm gravitating towards those same small sizes. I think I'm just not a very big eater and I felt that at times yesterday I was eating for the sake of getting in my 1/3rd super foods or having cups of tea to use up my milk allowance. I felt a bit over-faced with food yesterday!

I'm sure that I'll get used to it! It has been somewhat easier so far today.

Ah yes, WW and SW are very different beasts, especially with regard to portion size! There's nothing wrong with having small portions if that's all you want but it would be good to get the SF in too. You could try red and green days as SF isn't mandatory then but I'd hesitate to suggest that as not having enough SF regularly isn't great. As LD says, could you try something like cheese as a HE, or maybe full cream milk so there is less to use?

A rare red day for me today:
    B: 2 boiled eggs, butter (2.5), milk (A)
L: Ham, egg and olive (2) salad, satsuma
T: HM burgers, 2 x small rolls (2xB), low low slices (A), ketchup (1), salad, HM salsa
    S: 4 squares Galaxy Bubbles (6)

Have a good day all :)

Success express is 2/3rd SF, 2x hexs and highest syn values for your extras.

Sorry Stef, am stoopid :o so 2 x A's, 2 x B's & what do you mean by highest syn value for extras??

ETA - I think I got it, so if for example for dinner I was having Salmon, potatoes & veg, I would need to syn the salmon at the highest syns no matter what plan ie if 10 is the highest on green, it would be 10 syns?

    Todays EE Menu

B - Melon, pineapple, berries, Nat yoghurt
L - SW quiche (a), salad, melon, pineapple
D - Last nights leftovers, portion was waaay too big for one
    S -Toffee Muller, banana

HEB - 2 Nutrigrain Fruit biscuits

Are you saying your SW quiche is your HEA? Can I ask why?

The reason I'm asking is because I'm also having SW quiche for lunch today and I thought it was all free and thought I'd better double check in case I need to use it as a healthy extra.

    Thanks

You follow extra easy, but have 2 hea's & 2hebs. When you use syns you look to see what has the highest syn value, so if you were to have Mcdonalds french fries the highest syn value would be under a red day so you jot those syns down. And remembering the 2/3rds superfree.

There's also a SE menu on SW online if you still have access to it.
