If you can hold off the steak till after i weigh in tonight ill be round :rotfl:
Do you think you would follow a success express route for a day or two next week to see if there is a speed up in weight loss? Hopefully seeing the above menu you will get an idea of the amount of food to be aiming to eat.

LOL don't be tooo late then :D
Thanks Stef, I've never looked at Success Express before. As you say, it may well benefit me. So will give it a spin next week.
I am thinking of giving up Group when my 12 week Countdown expires. I am away on holiday for Easter anyway from then, so that fits in nicely.
  • I had a telephone appointment with a doctor yesterday to see if I could be referred to the diet clinic but apparently we don't have one. I've lost just over half a stone in 4 weeks which sounds quite good until you realise that I only lost 1lb in the last 2 weeks. :o I'm starting to panic that the same thing that always happened when i've tried to lose weight in the past is going to happen. :o

I'm also getting bored of eating the same things all the time so need some inspiration. I'm not sure if I should join a group or just buy a few recipe books. I bought the Food Directory which cost me over £20 off ebay but when I went shopping yesterday I couldn't find most of the stuff I looked for. :o

B - Muller Light yoghurt (i'm feeling Mullered out too :rotfl:), an apple & a satsuma.
Lunch - Bacon sandwich using wholemeal 400 g bread (HEB), a satsuma & a banana.
Dinner - Cottage pie, cabbage, carrots, sweetcorn & peas.
Dessert - Muller Light yoghurt & styrawberries.
Snacks (so far) - Weetabix Oaty bar 3.5 (syns) Milk for tea (HEA).

Well done to anyone that lost & hugs to anyone struggling. :A

What sort of meals would you normally have and want to stear away from. Are there any foods you wont eat? This would then give us a better idea of meals you can juggle with.

Have a look at the menu on the SW website and you can plan a whole week around SE and as its already written for you all you need to do is fetch the shopping.

  • It's run day today and I'm not feeling it with how cold it's turned. I'm hoping it will at least brighten up a bit, but I think the clouds have settled in for the day.

Breakfast - Porridge (HEB, water) with a banana and blueberries
Lunch - Salmon with a few new potatoes and salad (1.5 for dressing)
Dinner - Chargrilled chicken (4) and veg
Snacks - Apple, banana, lactofree cheese (HEA) on ryvita (1.5), greek muller (0.5)

So enough syns leftover for a Flake 99 (2.5) if I can trust myself to have just one! I had to hide the box after last time. :o

It's mainly breakfast & lunch as I never used to eat them so have been having Bacon & egg/Bacon sandwich a lot. I saw you can have Weetabix for your HEB but then i'd have to use my milk allowance up & wouldn't be able to have any tea.

I might try making that quiche that someone posted although I don't usually like cheese. I love soup so might try to google some syn free recipes.

I think i'm just getting fed up with being on a diet & not seeing the results I hoped for. :o I'm very over weight this time round so thought i'd lose it quicker than I am.
