morrrrrning losers!:D
well the cold has slightly subsided thankfully, still cant breathe properly but at least i dont feel as bleh. stef and TIE thanks for the suggestions, im off tomorrow so shall try the vicks etc tonight and see how that works out
WI tonight.... going by the scales this morning, i think is going to be about 2.5lbs, which whilst i was hoping for more, is just over a kg, or a bag of sugar so i shouldnt complain really. i think the problem is im trying to compare it to my losses first time round which i really shouldnt do as it was a completely different situation (jobs/type of work etc)
i'll not comment on my yesterdays food diary as it was rather sparse and therefore v.bad.:(:o
still... feeling better today so appetite is returning. also off tomorrow which means i can go home and relax and enjoy whatever i decide to have for my teaI'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know
On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!0 -

Not just for slow cookers. All in one...pot, pan, dish.
I've just bought the Italian one and SW Free foods.
I find the more options I have for cooking, the less bored I am and the less I fall off the wagon.
Having said that, I think not only have I fallen off said wagon this week, all the wheels came off too! :rotfl:0 -

Hope that's not true!:rotfl:
:T on your loss today, a steady average of 2lbs a week is excellent.Todays food is EE
B weetabix with skim milk and a bannana hea +b
L a vegitarian sausage caserole with loads of superfree veg (2 syns for the sausage)
D home made veg soup.... just looked in the fridge chopped up some sorry looking veg and added a stock cube and lentils... all ready to eat :-) with melon
S an orange and Fat free natural yogurt
Other syns... maybe a small glass of wine and a highlights
Looking at your menu, jue, if you're a veggie (or even choosing a veggie day) you might prefer the Green plan. That way you could have an extra HEA&B. So some bread with your soup perhaps?stef240377 wrote: »Between meals, for starters and desserts, enjoy Superfree Foods – fresh or frozen fruit and vegetables. You can also enjoy Free Foods such as eggs, fat free dairy products eg Mullerlight yogurts and vegetable proteins such as Quorn and tofu.
Just wanted to comment that some in my group tried SE and took it too literally and gave up because it was too much food.. They read the snacks/desserts as compulsory If you're happy with your three meals a day and single courses then that's fine.
I'm someone who averages my SFs across the day. I rarely have SFs with breakfast but make up for it in my other meals. I'm also wary of too much free food on it's own in snacks as I think it 'dilutes' my daily SF intake. Our consultant has been highlighting the idea of having some SF before a meal to take the edge off appetite. It reminded me that the traditional French way of eating would be to have a starter (maybe syn free soup?) then a lettuce course (clears the palate but also SF) before the main. perhaps that's part of the theory behind the 'French women don't get fat' book.
WI for me today and I'm pleased to say I'm now back in target range so won't have to pay next time!:D0 -

I might try making that quiche that someone posted although I don't usually like cheese. I love soup so might try to google some syn free recipes.
I think i'm just getting fed up with being on a diet & not seeing the results I hoped for.I'm very over weight this time round so thought i'd lose it quicker than I am.
Lunches at the min i am doing a mix of soups or salads. Make a big pot on a sunday to last through the week so it also cuts down the slaving over the stove time.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Hugs BCS.
I feel the same way as you. I've lost 12 lbs in 6 weeks, so 2 lb a week on average sounds fine. But I lost 5.5lb of that in my first week, so I have actually only lost 6.5lb in the last 5 weeks! That is so slow0 -

You can syn any extra milk over your HEA allowance. Or you could look at the different milk options to see if you can have more if you switch? I only look at the dairy free options so don't know others off the top of my head but I know Almond Breeze has a massive daily allowance - 875ml I think.
I know it's hard, but try not to get disappointed that it's coming off slowly. I don't think the amount you have to lose makes that much difference to be honest. DH only wanted to lose 20lbs where I wanted to lose at least 4 stone. In the end, we took the same amount of time to lose what we wanted (I've since reset my goal as I don't feel done yet) but some weeks he'd lose more than me.0 -

I've just ordered the Extra Easy & Free Foods ones, hopefully they will do the trick. :AI'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.
