I have a confession. I was out today and the time just vanished and before I knew it, it was 2pm and I was starving. Completely my own fault ....... called in at a small garage with very little choice of things to eat. Sweets, chocolates, crisps, sandwiches, sausage rolls etc. Nothing remotely healthy. I picked up a pack of 2 minipork pies (I know, I know!:().
They were about 4cm each across and very tiny. I tried the first one and the pastry tasted very fatty. I ate it but I honestly didn't enjoy it and took a bite fom the second and threw it out for the birds. It taught me a valuable lesson - always have something in the car for when this happens.
My palate must have changed completely since being on SW because it tasted like I was eating lard and I certainly won't ever eat those again.
I cam home and had a muller yoghurt and a banana and then did a 2mile fast walk because I felt so guilty.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Good idea....although I cant think of one at the moment either but I will try!
I got caught this afternoon but had a SW hifi light bar in my bag (3 syns) which would have otherwise meant I would have dropped the bl**dy phone again!I do have butter fingers
I'm going to have to put a kit together for work next week, my job means I can be on the go over lunch time and not always get the chance to eat or drink when I need to....a SW survival kit it will have to be! Hopefully I will be able to find lower pointed snacks ..... and I'll have some fruit in there too!

Thank you all, got new books tonight and instead of the usual bumf of humiliation and agonising gains we skipped all that just to look over the new books it was like resitting a new members meeting for everyone which seemed to pull in even the longstanding 'would rather be at the pub' types. Even more when i pointed out losing 25ml of milk from the skimmed allowance which suprised consultant so dont think she had done her home work:rotfl:
Couple of the ladies said they would love to have quiche but its now out of the window so think i will be extra good next week and take one in to share around to prove differently.
I know the hairy dieters book had been raved about before xmas and with the re-runs on bbc2 this week looked in the cook book for the lasagne recipe, now converting this to SW would mean 6 syns per serving, possibly 4 if you omit the wine and switch the milk but starting to wonder whether its worth it when you could follow a SW for 1 syn. If anyone has made both and can shed any light on which is better before i go out to make this next week i would be greatful.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Does anybody mind me joining in....
I have about 4.5 stone to lose, I was always a stone or so too heavy but after quitting smoking (in may 2010) I piled some more on and it wont move! Joined the gym last January but any weight I do lose (which is never much) finds me again. The group I can attend is on a Tuesday morning but I have a 4 year old that doesnt start back to nursery until weds next week! so cant join until the 15th, Ive got 'my fitness pal' on my iphone so im managing to keep the calories down so far until then.
Its lovely to read how this is all working for you because I think this might be the only diet I havent tried...Ive learnt there is no such thing as a quick fix...well not a permanent one anyway, and it has to be a life style change.
I havent got a clue how SW works and it sounds like I have alot to get my head round but Im ready for it....I have Octobers SW magazine, so gonna have a read of that in bed tonight.Good enough club member number 140
