Your syns are there to be eaten - it is written into food optimising for a reason - try to keep to about 10ish

You can eat loads - but if you are eating until you burst - you are probably eating too much

Try EE for 1 week & see what happens - post your daily menus here - we will be able to help & might see something that you haven't

Dont give up faith - it does work (when you stick to it!)
Thanks very much I will do E E and see what happens and I will post my daily menus thanks again

    Morning all,

Well done Rob and other losers :D

Banjo - I bet you'll end up losing loads this week after going over syns- funny things like that seem to happen on SW, especially to blokes (although only as a one off!)

Mrscannon - Looks good to me, plenty of superfree, which is great!

lucky-legs - maths looks right to me, sorry! Hope you still managed to get a little treat in :)

Well I had WI last night- had a little sneaky peek at home first as felt quite bloated, and sure enough, even taking into consideration the difference between mine and SW's scales, it said I was back where I was 2 weeks ago, i.e. gained 1.5. Went to class anyway and had actually LOST 1.5 :j that'll teach me to peek! Will have to be super good this week as next week will most likely be star week and after 3 consecutive losses my body may well be reluctant to let me lose again! May try walking to work a couple of times as this always helped me lose, and if the weather is anything like it was this morning it will be cold but beautiful :)

    EE today:
    B: Porridge (B), milk (A), banana
    L: Mugshot, satsuma
T: Probably chicken and mushroom risotto with salad, parmesan (1.5) (need to do some shopping first though!)
    S: Freddo (5)

Got friends round at the weekend so will save a few syns for a drink or two :)

    Have a good day all!

Are you having your HEXS as theres no mention of dairy or breads etc in there.
If you are finding you are hungry between meals try having something like the mugshots or pasta in sauces made with water - must be Batchelors ones though.

Sorry Stef, I DID miss out on my HexB. Had some SS milk in a couple of coffees for some HexA.

Was up at 3 am with DD, she had it both ends again :(
That's 3 weeks in a row she's been like this. Took her to GP last week when she had it, and was told its the nasty bugs that are doing the rounds. So a bit out of sorts.
    Today looks like this:

    B. muller light yog with 35g muesli HexB
    S. Apple
    L. 2 muller light yogurts, poured over bowl of summer fruits.
    D. Chicken and thick soup from last night.

Rob, that's fantastic going, well done. :T

It's taken me 5 weeks to lose 11 lbs. And week 6 isn't looking too good

Your lunch is still what most would consider a snack or a dessert is there anyway you can try including something more substantial even a salad with ham and egg?
Hope you lil one gets better soon, My 15 year old son had the bug a few weeks ago and it totally wiped him out which is unusual for him.

Blodwen the extra syn thing for men is a bone of contention in my group. There was a husband a wife join 4 weeks ago. She sticks to plan every week and is coming up for half a stone lost, hubby on the other hand goes out with mates on a friday night on the lash admitting upto 16 pints of guiness over doing it with the roasties on sunday but comes to group loosing amazing amounts. First week he lost 10lb, second 6lb, 3rd week was only 2 - he said this was the week the pub he went to only sold lager!!!
:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

    DD 1994, DS 1996 AND DS 1997

Lost 3st 5lb with Slimming world so far!!

  • Hi all!

    Getting to grips with SW. Sat down last night and made a menu plan for the week. Today's menu is probably the worst/unhealthiest because I'm going grocery shopping later today so it's a case of using up what we've got today;

Breakfast: 35g Gluten Free Cereal and skimmed milk (healthy extras).
Mango and Pineapple fingers and a herbal tea.

Lunch: 4 Glutafin High Fibre Crackers (4.5 syns) and 100g Asda Cottage Cheese with Pineapple (1.5 syns but needed used up!). An apple.

Dinner: Egg, SW Chips and Beans. Need to add some SFF to this so may make a small side salad to go with it or some mushrooms.

Snacks: 1 banana (if I feel like it!), 1 Gluten Free Rich Tea Biscuit (2.5 syns! And it's TINY!), 1 sugar in my mid morning latte made with milk from my allowance (1 syn).
