Thanks Stef, I don't go to a class now , have'nt been for a while. I just felt like I was throwing good money after bad. I will keep to E E all the time instead of just weekends. because i really feel that it's bread and potatoes. So if I just have 1 hx B and cut back on potatoes a bit, then see what happens. Can I cut out syns or just have about 4 ? I also feel like I am eating too much, because on most programmes, you eat a lot less.
Your syns are there to be eaten - it is written into food optimising for a reason - try to keep to about 10ish
You can eat loads - but if you are eating until you burst - you are probably eating too much
Try EE for 1 week & see what happens - post your daily menus here - we will be able to help & might see something that you haven't
Dont give up faith - it does work (when you stick to it!)0 -
Is it the Kellogs Nutri Grain Biscuits that are now allowed as an HEB?? If so, how many are allowed as HEB? I was out getting tea bags for work & Morrisons have them 1/2 price at £1.24 so I got 2 boxes of the fruit ones:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

This week has not gone well SW wise
I have eaten crackers galore - stupid nausea!
This morning i felt that bad i wanted to make myself sick to make myself feel better! But a water cracker helped
I'm trying to be good - honest - but i know that i will put on weight - it's inevetable - but it's not right!
I am not going to have alot of time this week to cook, let alone eat! Tonight is WI and because i am part of the social team i won't get home until 9.30-10pm to then cook & eat
Tomorrow i am visiting a friend who is due in a month to give her the blanket i crocheted for her - so not sure when i will get home to eat
Wednesday is Zumba at 8pm - so quick & easy but light so i don't barf during class
Thursday is knitting group - i can bring something with me - but don't know when i will get time to prep
& either Wed, Fri or Sun PIL's are treating us to indian (that i can manage!) but again doesn't give me alot of time to prep
So any ideas for some veg packed plain-ish meals that i can cook in double quick time? (& no DH wouldn't cook for me - his idea would be kebab!)
Why does everything happen all at once?0 -

Yes those are the ones - the fruit ones are lush
2 biscuits as heb - so be strong to only take 2 out of a packet!0 -
wiz kid - youre better not cutting out all syns, in class they reccommend having 5 each day (incase of butter, mayo etc.)
The thing about SW is you eat until you are full basically, and in eating the free and superfree food, you are limiting the more calorific items that we would normally go for. In the long run it works - first time round i ate massive amounts of fruit and veg any chance i could, along with lean cuts of meat (eg, ham) and lost weight very quickly. I also stuck with 5-10 syns a day depending on my mood and what i was eating, but i used those on maybe a bit of peanut butter on my toast or a curlywurly if i needed a boostI'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know
On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!0 -

Thanks Guys :j
I usually keep my alpen lights in my drawer in work however, I think if I am having these then I will take 2 into work with me. I may have 2 of these later with a cuppa as my HEB instead of Alpen lights x:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

Well! I don't know what's going on, but I am back where I started, again. I just don't understand it. Losing 3 then gaining it back this is happening all the time and has done for the last 2 yrs. It is really depressing me. I just don't know what to do. I see others losing and writing their menus down. and eating choc and sweets (although I am a diabetic and do have the odd sugar free sweets) then I look at what I'm eating and looks healthy to me and S/W Friendly so I don't really know what I'm doing wrong, unless I am having too many potatoes and bread. Which I do love. But, bread is an HX so what can I have instead for an HX. Pease, please can someone aqdvise me?.
You don't have to have bread as your HEB if you feel it's contributing to slow losses. I don't digest starchy foods well, so try to limit bread and potatoes and find this pretty easy to do with SW. I almost always have porridge as oats seem to be fine for me, but there are other non-grain options e.g. olive oil, some soups. I have a stock of the one that's a full tin as HEB - not at home at the moment, but I think it's Baxters country garden vegetable. And then I think there's even more options if you're doing red or green days.
Do you have access to the website? There'll be a full list on there.0 -

1 tin toms
1 tin of carrots
1 tin of beans
1 stock cube
1 large or a few smaller pickled onions.
I have also thrown in a tbsp of basil
Bung in a pan to warm through, blitz return to pan to ensure its hot or like i have done bunged into a systema soup mug and nuked for 2 mins. Quickest soup ever and pretty cheap too.
Just tried this and it was lovely and so easy to make, at first I could taste the baked beans but as I carried on eating it tasted more like Tomato soup - thank you another quick and easy lunch to add to my recipes :T0 -
Hi Gang
Congrats to losers, hugs to strugglers, and a warm welcome to fellow newbies.
I haven't felt too good since Valentine's TBH. Lost my mojo. Felt very empty inside and generally negative. I really wanted to have lots of bread, as felt it would be the only thing that satisfied me. But I resisted, kept eating more fruit and yogurt. I know I've blown more than 15 syns per day on my night drinking Thurs, Fri and Sat.
I was good yesterday until about 9.30pm when I caved in to a large malt whiskey and a curly wurly
Back on focus today:
B. Muller light vanilla yog over cherries.
S. apple
L. 2 boiled eggs with lambs lettuce, tomatoes, SW coleslaw ( 1 syn for extra light) mayo, with a beetroot and potato salad I made ( another 1 syn mayo)
D. Chicken with thick soup I've made with tomatoes, onions, leeks, celery, cabbage, baby spinach, pointed cabbage, carrots and chicken oxo.
Kids are on half term holiday, so they are eating all day ( it seems ) which doesn't help I suppose.
I'm already fretting about WI on Thursday.
Hope everyone else is feeling and doing fine0
