Congrats to losers, hugs to strugglers, and a warm welcome to fellow newbies.
I haven't felt too good since Valentine's TBH. Lost my mojo. Felt very empty inside and generally negative. I really wanted to have lots of bread, as felt it would be the only thing that satisfied me. But I resisted, kept eating more fruit and yogurt. I know I've blown more than 15 syns per day on my night drinking Thurs, Fri and Sat.
I was good yesterday until about 9.30pm when I caved in to a large malt whiskey and a curly wurly
Back on focus today:
B. Muller light vanilla yog over cherries.
S. apple
L. 2 boiled eggs with lambs lettuce, tomatoes, SW coleslaw ( 1 syn for extra light) mayo, with a beetroot and potato salad I made ( another 1 syn mayo)
D. Chicken with thick soup I've made with tomatoes, onions, leeks, celery, cabbage, baby spinach, pointed cabbage, carrots and chicken oxo.
Kids are on half term holiday, so they are eating all day ( it seems ) which doesn't help I suppose.
I'm already fretting about WI on Thursday.
Hope everyone else is feeling and doing fine
If you are finding you are hungry between meals try having something like the mugshots or pasta in sauces made with water - must be Batchelors ones though.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

t- gammon baked potato + salad- rocket cucumber cherry tomatos spring onion fat free dressing and 1tbsp extra light mayo (2syn)
snacks- ski lemon mousse (4syns) hex a milk in my coffees also had 2 pints of water and will have a option hot chocolate (2syns) later on. Thank you0 -

I think I made a boo-boo today...
B - Porridge (B) and Milk (A) banana
L - Stef's tomato soup (beans, tomatoes, carrots, stock cube, pickled onions)
T - HM Cauliflower cheese with WW sausages
Now this is where I think I've gone wrong....if on green then the WW sausages are 4 syns each (I plan to eat 3/4 because I'm a little piggy! so thats 12/16 syns) if I go EE then I've had two A choices (milk and cheese) the Cauliflower cheese recipe says it's 6 syns, I can't see anything other than the cheese in the recipe that would count as syns so I presume that is what it is for (so 6 syns instead of 2nd A choice), then if I count 4 WW sausages it will be 2 syns (0.5 each) so 8 in total not leaving me an awfull lot for any naughties later  anyone got any other ideas or have I worked this out right??
"ONLY" had 3 sausages...did put 4 on my plate but the cauliflower cheese was more filling than I thought it would be, so hubby ate one for me0 -
Hi all,
Well I'm back from my first meeting. My Mum has also decided to join me in losing weight with Slimming World so I've got a buddy and it was nice not to walk in on my own. We feel like its alot to understand but we are going to sit down and figure out a menu plan that we can use this week.
I'm amazed at how much you can eat! The leader showed us some food diaries of members who had 3 and a half and 4 pound losses and they ate loads but all good healthy foods. It's so different to WW already but in a good way. The people at the meeting had lost a lot of weight and there were alt of 2 and 3 poun losses so hopefully this time next week my Mum and I will be a good few pounds lighter each - I'd love it if between us we can lose half a stone for our first proper weigh in!0 -
Evening all
We are back from our night in a hotel. It's done us the world of good.
We both feel more relaxed, and I am trying to be positive about this lump in my neck.
Food wise.....well I best not talk about that I think
Dinner was lovely, lamb with new pots and veg. Gravy a little naughty.
Pudding..(Oh dear) HM pavlova, with strawberries and cointreau cream. Ooops, it just seemed to fall in to my mouth :rotfl:
We really needed the break, even just one night, and I was not going to worry about food, I just had what I wanted.
I have more serious things on my mind to beat myself up about it.
Hope everyone is ok. Hugs to those that need, and well done to you losers0 -
Hi all,
back from the tournament - it went ok and food wise I was actually a lot more restrained than I could have been (plus I was running about here, there and everywhere for 2.5days solid!)
Got back last night and ordered in because I was too tired to stand never mind cook haha
Bad news is that I literally can not stop eatingand it isn't all healthy. Going to try my best for the next few days and then get back on track hopefully. Need to try and find somewhere tomorrow where I can weigh myself to see how I'm doing. I know I probably haven't gained or lost much but I want to know where I'm at as I'm going it alone atm.
Currently thinking that tomorrow will be:
Breakfast: porridge made with water (HeB) with 2 bananas and a tsp golden syrup (2.5syn)
Snack: satsuma
Lunch: tin of ravioli (1.5syn)
Snack:satsuma
tea: chicken and smash for me (chips for bf) served with veggies (syn free)
Before bed: hot choc (2syn) made with milk from HeA
i have boxed up some left over spag bol but considering getting rid of it as I have plenty in the freezer and can't fit it in nor do I really fancy it for lunch tomorrow
Need to find a way to keep my head busy - i think it was part boredom, part thirst. I have now bought a bottle of squash to keep in my draw at work to make sure i drink plenty rather than mistake thirst for hunger too************************************

Then when hubby & son got home started all over again with making tea and doing more washing so more ironing tomorrow
.
Food today;
B - weetabix milk [a] 2 coffees
S - choc orange thin [3.5]
L - hm carrot & lentil soup
S - soup again
T - 2x sausages [?] scrambled egg, beans, mushrooms, t/sauce [1]
Syns - too many?
Anyone know how many syns Tesco butchers choice pork [thick] sausages are please can't find them in my old book. Probably loads though. Though hopefully all the walking I did will have helped
