  • morning losers!!! :D

well!... plan was going great until yesterday - i had a sneaky scales look (i cant say i wont do this as i know i will... its like my little control)... yesterday morning brilliant, 4lbs-ish down from thurs ... HAPPY DAYS. then dinner hit. last night i was like 6.5lbs heavier:eek: - my dinner and meals yesterday did not weigh that amount.

i realllllllllllllllllllllllllly want a loss for this thurs (first re-weigh in) and i know that if i get a good loss, it'll give me the boost i need to lose more. if i dont, i know ill be a little gutted.

today as it stands, ive had a big bowl of fruit (mango, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries) and a cup of hot water.

lunch will probably be the left over fruit from breakfast and a small pot of beans.

dinner is undecided yet though will probably involve chicken in some form. ive decided to try and stay away from bread as it seems to put alot of weight on me for literally nothing. im not allergic or anything to it, in fact i love bread, but im thinking it may be the saboteur in my wee journey.
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

Do you mean she has or hasn't been spayed? If I were you and she hasn't I'd get her done ASAP- they reach maturity (so can get pregnant) from 5-6 months of age!

ETA: Just realised the last bit probably meant chipped- I took it as being chopped, e.g. spayed/neutered! If that's the case ignore me!

OMG :rotfl:I almost choked on my green tea there, my poor kitten getting chopped, RSPCA will be at my door soon. I was posting that from my phone .
She has been neutered, would not let her out otherwise & I need to look into her being CHIPPED not CHOPPED :rotfl:. Post menu in a minute, just skimming through thread from paid stuff :D

    Hi All :hello:

Well what a weekend! Meal was lovely on Saturday night, I had cheesecake for dessert as well, don’t regret it at all, if I gain then so be it, it was worth it & I chose to eat it, disaster yesterday, dinner was to be HM lasagne, my DH knows (even pre-slimming world) I always bought lean mince, he brought in ordinary mince, cue mega strop from me saying I wouldn’t eat it, but to be honest it was too late in the day to start cooking or defrost something, by this time I had been ironing for 5 hours!!!!! So we shall see what the scales reflect on WI Wed, I had total munchies yesterday, think it was the boredom of ironing! Ate crisps & biscuits & all sorts. I never do this, just nothing seemed to satisfy my hunger/cravings yesterday :(

Who was buying the shred DVD??? Did you get it yet. I plan to start it again on Wednesday, will be taking measurements of waist, thighs, upper arms and chest then doing the DVD for 30 days, upping the level when I feel able & posting measurements at the end of 30 days.

BCS - Hugs for you and well done for sticking to plan :A

    Todays EE Plan

B - Berries, melon, pineapple, natural yoghurt
L - Speed Soup, melon, pineapple
    D - Pasta Bake (a), brocolli
    S - Banana & toffee muller
    HEB - 2 alpen lights

I will probably be up until 12-1 tonight as DH is nightshift & I don't sleep well, so may have the rest of the SW Pakora later on, if I am hungry

Well! I don't know what's going on, but I am back where I started, again. I just don't understand it. Losing 3 then gaining it back this is happening all the time and has done for the last 2 yrs. It is really depressing me. I just don't know what to do. I see others losing and writing their menus down. and eating choc and sweets (although I am a diabetic and do have the odd sugar free sweets) then I look at what I'm eating and looks healthy to me and S/W Friendly so I don't really know what I'm doing wrong, unless I am having too many potatoes and bread. Which I do love. But, bread is an HX so what can I have instead for an HX. Pease, please can someone aqdvise me?.
  • 4th weigh In this morning & I lost 1lb.

    1st week lost 2lb 14 oz's
    2nd week lost 3lb 6 oz's
    3rd week sts
    4th week lost 1 lb

    So after 4 weeks i've lost 7lb's & 4 oz's just over 1/2 stone. :D

It is coming off slowly, I literally don't do any exercise so i'm thinking if I start to go for a walk/bike ride once a day it will help speed things up.

I'd be grateful of any other suggestions too. :A

I hope everyone else is well, i'll pop back & post my food diary when I decide what i'm having for lunch. :rotfl:

wizkid are you writing down your food diary? normally consultants will ask you to do that if you are struggling a little. also helps to see where you might be going off the rails a little but not knowingly.

im grateful that this forum exists for that reason - theres an extra boost of support here that some groups lack, and there are blips along the way for many of us, so dont worry about it too much. its not how you fall off, but how you get back on track that matters

Has your consultant looked at a food diary? Are you measuring out your milk/cheese allowance are you making sure your HEB is the right one?
You must ensure what ever plan you are following that your plate is 1/3rd superfree.
Have you been given an SAS log to fill in? If not you can down load and print one off from the SW website. You dont have to show these logs to your consultant but they do help identify where you may be going wrong.
If i remember correctly you have been following the green plan this past week. Personally i found following green and having the extra HEXs made me gain so if i want a meat free day now i still stick to EE. It is all trial and error to see what works for you. Also try juggling your syns around so you are not eating the same things day in day out. Relax fruit intake and up veg.

hi all.. long work weekend over thank god, off now till weds! :j

I've gone green this week and am trying to keep away from bread as a B choice, its always been my comfort food so best to limit it for me!

    today is looking like..
    B: all bran (A+B) + banana
    L: h/m chunky veg soup, 2 dry ryvitas (B)
T: vegetable tagine + boiled rice.. yog + fresh fruit

syns: my evening treat of a peanut hifi (6) hot choc (2)

1.5L water + black coffee for drinks

good luck with WI's this week :p

Thanks Stef, I don't go to a class now , have'nt been for a while. I just felt like I was throwing good money after bad. I will keep to E E all the time instead of just weekends. because i really feel that it's bread and potatoes. So if I just have 1 hx B and cut back on potatoes a bit, then see what happens. Can I cut out syns or just have about 4 ? I also feel like I am eating too much, because on most programmes, you eat a lot less.
