    I have a soft spot for cats and dogs hence, 2 dogs 3 cats. Did have 4 but one night the baby went out and never came back, one of the neighbours said he had been run over as he saw him lying by the side of the road as he went out for his early morning jog but wasnt there when he got back :( However since the post about the V.E.T.S. the little blighter has run off so will play the waiting game now.

    Sorry but :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Shame about your little baby though, that is my worst fear. Shadow is the first cat I've ever had, always though myself more a dog person before though I would never have hurt any animals...now though I think I've been converted to a cat person by a certain little cheeky black fella!! :)
  • I'm in slimming world curry heaven today. :D

    I ordered the SW Curry Feast book and it arrived in the post yesterday, so I made Chicken Dopiaza and Onion Bhajis for tea today. Yum!

    Hi kiwisaver, I made the onion bhajis last Saturday from the Curry Heaven book. I made the mistake of finely chopping the onions, instead of slicing them but they were very tasty.

    Too tasty in fact, because teenage DS took a real fancy to them and scoffed most of them!

    Just made the SW coleslaw for tonight, and added a bit of cajun seasoning to it - it tastes yummy. Have got my thighs marinating in a zero fat natural yogurt and tikka curry powder mix for tonight.

    Undecided whether to make the SW pakoras too :)

    Talking of pets and strays. A couple of years ago, when we had the very harsh winter, some idiot left a kitten behind our bins the week before Christmas. It was only by chance I looked behind the bin and saw a pet carrier with the poor little thing shivering. I don't know how long it had been there, but was lucky to still be alive.

    We took it in over Christmas, and for a few months longer until we found her a loving family home.

    A coincidence that I've been to the Vets this morning too, just for regular maintenance of my little doggie. And booked her in to a poochie parlour for a glamorous makeover next week. That's £30+ gone!
  • Awh, jezebel1 you sound really down.

    Hope you're feeling better soon.
