I've just joined slimming world online & was surprised that there isn't an online forum there, so came on trusty mse hoping to find one & found you all
I have never done slimming world before, I usually follow weight watchers plan & although I have had sucess, I've always felt hungry & quickly piled the weight back on (+ more) after reaching target.
My friend recommended slimming world to me, she is also a previous weight watcher member & has said she never feels hungry doing slimming world, something she struggled with at weight watchers.
Its going to be hard getting used to the different plan but i'm looking forward to it.
Welcome and good luck with the planI've only been on this page this week, but I've found every one here to be very helpful and friendly

There are a few groups on Facebook too where people post recipes & stuff.I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

Ooh just been out for a meal with hubby. After daughter came in from work she announced she was off out to a house party taking brother with her so they were off for a meal first leaving hubby and i home alone. So the invite for an indian came into the equation and off we went. So tried to be a very good girl and had a mixed started of sheesh kebab, square of chicken tikka and one square of lamb with a side salad (??syns).
Main was chicken rogan josh (6.5syns) boiled rice and the tiniest slither of hubbies keema naan to clear plate. Looked at dessert menu and settled for an extra diet coke instead. Off to soak in the bath now and really enjoy the peace and quiet of no kids for a couple more hours
On the subject of valentines, hubby and i really dont bother unless theres a voucher code floating around for freebie cards from the likes of moon pig et al. So this year nada, apart from waking up tuesday morning to living room full of flowers:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Hi all
Been a little bit AWOL this week. It's been my shift days on. Terrible week, ended up doing 2 x 15 hour days, 2 x 12 hour days. Blinkin knackered. Not long in the door and I've opened some wine and I care not!
Didn't do anything for Valentines as we were working, so we have treated ourselves to a night in a wee hotel on Sunday night.
On a separate note, I've been to the docs this morning. I found a quite large lump in my neck. I have to go for an ultrasound and have some bloods done. Doc thinks its my thyroid, but not sure what the problem is exactly. I'm obviously quite worried. Am trying not to think about it too much, but you can't help it can you?
That's all for now, will check in again when I've weighed in.
Hope everyone is good?0 -

Is it just me that wants to send Stef round to Banjo's house?
Banjo, I know you shop at M&S so have you tried their baby avocados? I find them just as satisfying as the larger ones (as I tend to measure it in segments rather than weight - so a quarter of a small one feels the same as quarter of a large one, if that makes sense) but it'll obviously be less syns.
Bad day today...
Breakfast - Porridge (HEB) and banana
Snack - Apple
Lunch - Chicken and salad on wholemeal roll (out for lunch, no bread free options sadly - will guess 8 syns for bread and small amount of sauce)
Snack - FF yoghurt
Dinner - Omelette with spinach, tomato, ham and cheese (HEA) served with rocket. This was delicious!
After dinner is where it fell apart though. Bought a box of Flake 99s as I thought they would satisfy the chocolate craving at just 2.5 syns each. Which they do, but I had 6. Have had a stressful week at work and I was a comfort eater, scarily easy to slip back into it. At least I didn't eat the whole box which I would have done in the past. So in a way, it's progress! Oh well, tomorrow's a new day.0
