  • i have to look after my friends wee boy tomorrow whilst shes at work, so my plan is to go to mr T on the way, and buy a few yoghurts and SS fruit that i can snack on.

im not too sure what to make for my lunch as it has to be something relatively easy and quick to make (the wee boy is 11mths and fidgity as anything!!:rotfl:)

due to the nature of my job and the fact that i sit most of the week, im going to try and eat low density foods more often hopefully to help speed up my losses. lets face it, im not going to have a loss the same as i did the first time round (10.5lbs in 2wks) because my work situation is completely different now. but im thinking if i limit my bread and pasta intake, hopefully i should be grand?

stef- is it just me, or has the HEB list in the new book grown quite considerably?!
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

Yes the book is showing quite a lot more this time and the online lists also looks impressive so no need to get bored having the same old things day in day out.

Lardycat the newest book is dated 2013, a new one is given out in the new year. If you want to recheck values your more than welcome ;)

  • Is it just me that wants to send Stef round to Banjo's house? smiley-laughing007.gif

Banjo, I know you shop at M&S so have you tried their baby avocados? I find them just as satisfying as the larger ones (as I tend to measure it in segments rather than weight - so a quarter of a small one feels the same as quarter of a large one, if that makes sense) but it'll obviously be less syns.

    ......

Thanks LondonDreamer I haven't spotted them. Just had time to rush in for my submarine rolls the other day and didn't get the chance to up my periscope for other things.

I was naughty last night and had too much alcohol :o

Must get back to a stricter regime from today. Think it will be SW chicken tikka with SW coleslaw tonight.

Hope everyone is well. Spring is definitely in the air :)

Banjo, lets get a spring in your step too :)

Off to the vets today to see if the little black puddy cat that seems to be stalking me is a stray or is loved enough to have a microchip. Poor thing has been loitering around for about a week now, as soon as theres any movement in our kitchen it is screaming at the back door, my cats are restless knowing she is out there and we wont let her in as dont want to seduce her away from any owner she may have and because i have boy cats dont want any naughty business going on;)

So meals arent really planned as such today. Breakfast will probably be fruit. Lunch will make a soup and tea is going to be one of those Maggi 'so juicy' packs as had some sent through as a sample for Bzz Agent. Looking online they are lower syns than i thought so depending on whether daughter eats with us it will work out between 1-2 syns each. Which is a nice little compromise for lazy cooking.

We had a little black stray turn up here last April, he had a collar (but no name tag) and had been nutured so we were sure we would find a chip too, sadly no. As we have no other pets (except a couple of gerbils which said cat found very amusing) we took him in while we attempted to find his owners...we advertised via local shops and posters on lamposts etc and also plastered it all over facebook, so pretty much covered the local area. All to no avail, nearly 12 months on and Shadow (as he has come to be known, due to his colouring and the fact that he is constantly behind me like my shadow) is now very much a part of our family and we feel very blessed that such a loving and good natured animal came into our home. The thing is, due to the fact he has been nutured he rarely goes out of our back garden and if he does he is still close enough by that we can always hear the little bell on his collar so we just don't understand how he came to be lost in the first place??

I have a soft spot for cats and dogs hence, 2 dogs 3 cats. Did have 4 but one night the baby went out and never came back, one of the neighbours said he had been run over as he saw him lying by the side of the road as he went out for his early morning jog but wasnt there when he got back :( However since the post about the V.E.T.S. the little blighter has run off so will play the waiting game now.
