im trying to decide wether or not i wish to have pancakes ... i bought my niece abra-ca-debora ones and if i have my calculations right they are 8 syns each .. they smell lovely thought she has just polished off a chocolate spread filled one ..

    per 100g its 262 k/cal protein 5.5 carbs 35 g fat 11.1 its a 365 g pack and there are 6 pancakes...

thought the egg pancakes sound nice .. not sure about the bannana egg mix lol

    I make it 8 syns :)

The banana pancakes are ok - filling & still are 4 syns per banana used as it's cooked - so better (i nearly wrote batter!) to have normal ones or to have the eggy ones

I have made the eggy ones as sweet omelettes before - just mix couple of eggs with vanilla essence & some sweetner (not 6 tbsp!) and 'fry' like an omelette - i use a tbsp nutella with it (4.5syns)- nom nom nom

we will both eat anything :-/

i have lots of SW cookbooks at home just wondered if anyone had any other ideas on here.

a beef and onion pie would be nice maybe?

A site that I love & am sure a lot of ladies (and gents) use is this one, I have not had a bad tasting thing from it yet, my fave for lunches is the bacon leek & sweet potato quiche, easy to make & freezes like a dream.

I don't have any books, only the 100 extra easy days which is not technically a recipe book.

Banjo EAT!!!!! This is going to sound stupid but you can actually gain weight from not eating enough and looking at your menu you are not eating enough again. We wont stop nagging you till you do ;)

Well done to everyone who has had a great week and hugs to those in need.

    EE day for me today.
B, 1x 800g slice of wm toast, beans and egg.
L, HM soup - soup mix, carrots, celery, leeks, tomatoes, tom puree, onion.
T, diet coke chicken rice and salad.
No pancakes for me, taking a SW approach and doing with out so will be having strawberries and yogurt.
Syns, 3 for butter on toast. not sure what else to have at min.
    Hea milk.

Bought myself some wrist/ankle weights today in Home bargains for when on wii to add more resistance and to tone legs and arms up. They were a fantastic price of £1.99 for a pair. Whereas the ones i had been looking at online were coming in at £7.99 delivered! Also saw the new flavour mug shots in there, hubby asked to try a Thai one and has just had it saying not again, flavours were too over powering for him. Ill stick to homemade soups for lunch i think.

Well done stef. I thought exactly the same!

Having read the chicken & leek pie recipe earlier I decided to try it for my supper (didn't fancy the planned sausages). I altered it a little to fit what I had in and it's going in the oven very soon!

    Hi all,

Hope you are all having good days - finding now that with using a computer most of the day the last thing I want to do is sit on my laptop all night, yay!

Got a good walk in today when I took my lunch hour :)

    Today I have had:
breakfast:2in wide piece of bacon butty (lean bacon) on white bread, mini choc croissant and small glass of orange juice + coffee with milk from HeA (all had at work, need to be seen to be eating the breakfast with our members so I tend just to have a little pick) not even considering the syn values today
lunch: left over spag bol (5.5syn)
tea: baked chicken piece with a ton of veggies (cauliflower, peas, green beans and carrots) rice and done through with an egg - lazy girls egg fried rice with no syns haha

    Snacks: 3 satsumas, 1 banana

Will be having 1 pancake with bf tonight - again not counting syns on that one haha

    Tomorrow is roughly planned:
Breakfast: porridge (HeB) made with 125ml milk (1/2 HeA)+125ml water, banana cut up and stirred through 1tsp golden syrup (2.5syn)
    snack: 2satsumas
lunch: left over chicken and rice
snack: think either some special k cracker crisps (2.5syn - I ate half the portion [i bought the box then portioned them up haha) yesterday) or a pink and white (2.5syn) with a cuppa
tea:2 skinny lizzys (2syn), mixed veggies, smash

rest of HeA in coffee - not really been having my whole HeA I think and I am aware I need it

Again going to try for a walk on my break - even just a short 30min pointless wander as I am already falling in to the trap of not leaving the office once all day and I need to give my eyes a break from the computer and give my brain a little rest haha

going to try it tomorrow, my mini Tesco had a load of reduced price veggies when I got the pancake mix earlier, got some leeks for that and a soup.. let us know how it goes :)

ohh, the low low mature spread is BOGOF in Tesco too!
