Tried these a while and they were difficult to cook. The mix was too thick and found that the bottom burnt no matter how low the temp while the middle and top remained to raw to be able to flip. After using half the mix gave up!

I just tried a 'pancake' with a cuppa tea, it turned out fairly well (ok it was more of a pile than a pancake as it stuck to the pan!) but it actually tasted really nice. I decided to keep it very thin and also used a lidded frying pan to make sure it cooked, at the end I put on a tiny bit of lemon juice which I think probabally made it seem a bit more real...Looking forward to having some more later :)

The main problem with a pie is the pastry lid. What about

which I'd serve with new potatoes and maybe some tenderstem broccoli. Leeks can easily be substituted/added for onions. You could use this for a base for a pie if it's a favourite and syns could be saved specially for the lid: filo is best.

i think it's the 1% fat ones that are free, the others need to be synned

    Nope

The tomato, chicken are free (i only eat these ones)

I think the rule of 1% fat = free, 2% = 1 syn & 5% = 2syns still works (it should say on the front of packet)

They vary depending on flavour. As a rule of thumb it's the cheesy ones with syns and the tomatoey ones are free. Tell us what flavours you like.
