    Pancake day tomorrow!!!!

I have no idea how these will turn out as I've not tried them myself yet, but I thought I would just post the recipe for anyone that would like to try them so that you won't feel left out tomorrow when everyone else is eating their pancakes :) I'm going to try mine with a chocolate sprinkles vanilla Mullerlight

    Healthy Extra B Oaty Pancakes

    · Oaty pancakes H.E. B or 6 syns for the lot.

    · Put 35grm of porridge oats in a vanilla muller light overnight and leave in the fridge.

    · Beat in 3 eggs and add some sweetener (to taste).

    · Cook by frying in fry light then sprinkle chopped banana on at the end.

    · A very filling breakfast for your H.E. B and syn free too or as I'm planning a very nice pudding on Pancake night! LOL Enjoy!! x
Tried these a while and they were difficult to cook. The mix was too thick and found that the bottom burnt no matter how low the temp while the middle and top remained to raw to be able to flip. After using half the mix gave up!

I can't really post my food diary as I'm on my phone (laptops being repaired).

Keep up the good work & ill hopefully be back in time for next weeks weigh in with better news.

I do green and definitely have both the HEAs. I always have skimmed milk with my porridge and the other is invariably cheese of some description. I often have a second portion of cheese that I syn too, depending on the menu! I love cheese

Thanks SallyCinnamon and others for your advice, I am a cheese monster too and I would happily forego meat in favour of cheese any day. :D Seeing that Philadelphia Light MiniTubs are HEAs on Green made me :j

You also need to syn your raisins as dried fruit is not a free or superfree food.
The currys you are enquiring about are not coming up on syns online so the only way to check would be for you to put the nutritional value on here.

    Morning folks,

Well done to the losers! Am pleased to say I lost another 1.5 last night, which, as my leader informed me, is a total 4st 9.5lb in 44 weeks (didn't realise I'd been going that long!). I worked out the other day that if I want to get to (a rather arbitrary - picked because would be 100lb lost) target before the beginning of September, ready for a wedding in France then hols, I need to lose about 1.5 a week. It's doable if I don't mess about, and should be getting my bike in the next couple of weeks so that should make a difference- when I was walking to work a couple of times a week in the summer I was losing 3lb a week.

Won't be having pancakes tonight in the Blodwen household - I like them but can't be bothered faffing about. Have had the oat ones once for breakfast before and they were ok but weren't really like proper pancakes, more scotch pancakes as thick and doughy. Filling though!

EE today, although not very inspired with meals - need to take heed of some of the piles of mags and SW friendly cook books I have accumulated!

    B: Porridge (B), milk (A), banana, maple syrup (2)
L: Jacket spud, bolognese sauce (inc lots of veg), satsuma
T: Joes sausages, mash or chips, carrots, broccoli, gravy (2)
S: Yogurt (1), Spirals (like 1 stick of Kinder Bueno, from Aldi) (6)

    :)
