I am absolutely gutted and annoyed at myself.... have only just discovered a week later that the bread I've been eating isn't HEB, it's 8 syns for 2 slices! So I've been oversynning all week without realising. Will syn it today as I've already made my lunch and got to leave for work soon, hopefully I've been good enough in the other areas and with exercise to still lose :(

My top tip for the week after two mistakes with HEBs? ALWAYS check!
What bread have you been having?

I am dubious when it comes to bread with the syns online stating any 2 slices of a WM loaf 400g. If you buy Nimble its 52 calories a slice thereabouts where as the Morrisons one i picked up a fortnight ago is 90+ cals a slice. Whilst i know we are not calorie counting with SW it is almost doubling your intake immediately. Sticking with Nimble now though, which is a shame as the morrisons was 'proper' bread not a brown slice with plenty of holes in it :rotfl:

D chicken pasta carrots and French beans
hea1 milk in drinks hea2 cheese
    heb1 cereal heb2 bread
    syns not sure yet

  • I have STS this week, to be expected really as I lost it the past few days and we've eaten out and been unusually naughty. I rarely drink alcohol but opportunities put in front of me and one leads to another ...... no excuses!!

Anyway tonight I have been studying Green plan as I think this might suit my eating habits better. I am struggling on extra easy with having to choose between cereals or bread, when ideally I would have both and also only having one dairy choice which goes mostly in milk for drinks. I am not the greatest meat eater and looking at the all HEX choices on Green I am pretty sure I could manage that better, especially on work days.

So a question for those that do Green days, do you generally plan to have 2 of HEA and 2 of HEB everyday. Only the suggestion is to have one (or two) of HEAs; surely it would be rude not to have both? :rotfl: I am thinking perhaps I should start with having both and see how I go from there.

  • Oh I am full of doom and gloom! :(
Can't seem to pick up my mood at all. My back was bad in the night and had to get up to take meds. It's sleety/snowy here and it's still like night time outside. I'm tired, feel pants, and it's back on shift tomoro for 4 x 12 hour shifts.
Feel like going back to bed and staying there. I'm not going to give in to my rubbish mood however, and I'm in the kitchen doing some cooking for the week.

Hope you are all having better days :) x

    Morning All :hello:

Just caught up with thread, was busy pulling wallpaper etc off at weekend :D. I was a good girl up intil yesterday Pizetta in Pizza hut, and it was rubbish!!! & cost £8.95, we only went cos DH had a voucher to open, we won garlic bread & one jumped into my mouth before I knew it .......later wine & pakora *hanging my head in shame*

This week will be better, I will not be in the least surprised of a gain this week.

Sorry to hear a lot of you are feeling down, I think it is just the time of year, but the lighter nights are coming in now, and we have a little sunshine here today, still blinkin freezing though.

Mr friend got me a load of sw beef links & square sausage from the butchers on Friday so they are all individaully wrapped & stored in the freezer, they were a bit more expensive but at 1 syn each & tasting like proper sausage its worth it!

    Todays EE plan

B - Berries, melon, pineapple, nat yoghurt
L - SW quiche, (HEA) (bacon, leek, sweet potato) salad, melon, pineapple
D - Steak Pie (didn't have it yesterday) 2 syns for sausages, 4 for light puff pastry potatoes, roast veg
    S - Toffee muller, banana

    B - 2 x Alpen Lights

    Good morning all.

Had a busy one this morning. Half hour on the wii with free step, then ran vacuum round. Got a soup bubbling away on hob and had a bath.

    EE day here.

    B, yeo valley 0% yog (112g = 1syn), cherries, banana and apple.
L, country veg soup. Soup lentil mix, carrots, leeks, onions and celery.
T, Asian tuna. Tuna steaks, noodles, sauce (3syns) mangetout and baby corn.
    HEA milk.
HEB, not sure what to have yet.

I don't have as many green days as I used to but still have them. As you say, rude not to use all your HEs so almost always do :D - nice not to have used all HEs just for breakfast. The only thing I'd say is make sure you keep your superfree content up- it's easy not to because it isn't specified as essential on red or green but I try and still have as much as possible on all days. Hope you enjoy going green! :)
