Hi everyone, I have lost... 2lb of which I am thrilled about. I seamed to have been stuck for ages.
Because I'm afraid that the more syns I use, especially if I don't feel I need them. The more I have the more I don't budge. Could I be right if not Please can someone tell me. Hope I have a loss next week.
:Tgreat loss wizkid, well done! The syns are there to be used so don't be afraid to use them. All I would say is that the 10 a day that's mostly recommended in groups is apparently to allow for any estimating of portion sizes so your 8 is safe and gives you some leeway.lucky-legs wrote: »The only problem I have is that when I recently joined my local group, I found that the new Extra Easy plan was really being pushed and I could not get my head around it and had very little success. I found that most of the advice in class and the discussions were about EE and felt there was very little support for the old fashioned red/green days (I'm sure this was localised to this particular group)
No, it wasn't localised LL, EE is what is generally 'pushed' at most groups. The Red and Green are still in the books so you have those to help you. I think it's common for those 'brought' up on the old plans to favour them. Also the extra HEXs are very popular. Do ask all the questions you want. :Ton your 6lbs to date.0 -
So, this afternoon I have made muffins.:D
Banana and cinnamon ones, and chocolate ones with curly wurly bits inside. I'm taking them to work tomoro for my work mates. I love baking, and I find it eases me if I'm in a grump. (Tho hasn't helped a great deal today)
I also find that making them takes the urge away to eat them. It makes me happy to see people enjoying what I make.
Anyway, tea is in the oven...Quorn mince cottage pie today.0 -
Some great losses :j

Well from today I am officially trying to gradually reintroduce foods that I have been cutting out on SW in a bid to feel less like I am 'dieting'
Tonight I am having grilled chicken and a few, not many at all, oven chips with a mountain of veggies on the side (cauliflower, carrots, green beans, peas, sweetcorn)
I need to show myself that I have got a well developed self control now and that I can relax a little around food. I have been slightly obsessive about counting and weighing, and not in a good/healthy way and it has been a worry to myself and my friends/family.
Now I will be incorporating 2/3 'flexi days' alongside going to the gym twice a week and being a little restrained when it comes to the lush breakfast buffets at work haha
I have worked hard to get where I am and I will not go back! Can no longer make groups but will use this forum as support along with all the lovely friends and family who have been beside me and my new colleagues (some of whom are now joining having met me and seen my progress!!!)
Sounds like a bit of a mopey post but basically what I'm trying to say is my mindset needs a little tweak and thank you masses for all the support I get from on here!************************************
