Hello all
I have been missing for a few days. Work has been hell and have ended up working 14 hours most days.
I would like to say I have been fabulous at eating on those days, and my intentions were there at the start of each day. But I cannot lie.
I HAVE EATEN CAKE, REALLY BAD CAKE, AND LOTS OF CAKE
A bit disappointed in myself to be honest. My resolve weakened and I gave in. I was not organised. This is my downfall. I NEED to be organised or it doesn't work.
Draw a line and move on I guess. The only thing I can do0 -

Banjo - A lady brought a bottle of equator in tonight for the slimmer of the week basket. Her opinion of it is this - If its a red hot day and it is ice cold then it would be very refreshing. On your average night in front of the tv well its a little more than a 'beer' flavoured spring water.
For me tonight its looks like my gain week as it follows pattern in book, i know its only 1lb but it is still disheartening. Onwards and upwards. Just eaten my tea of quorn cottage pie, slight slosh of gravy so have enough syns left for a choccy bar with my coffee before settling down to get comfy.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Not really following plan properly - most of the meals i have had are syn free & to plan, but because i can't stand brekkie atm (i think morning sickness) i end up reaching for a biccie later on
Can't stand fruit atm either - nearly gagged trying to eat pineapple yesterday - it doesn't appeal to me at all
But i am ok with carrot sticks & i still love my veg
Does someone want to come round & cook me lots of mash & veg? Pretty please x lol
I would like some sandwich filling ideas apart from ham & mayo :-/ bearing in mind i don't like salad (e.g. lettuce, toms, cucumber etc.) anyone help?
Banana sandwiches (I loved them when I was little!)
Or make up some smoked mackerel pate (just shred smoked mackerel, in essence), do you count watercress as salad? It's lovely with smoked mackerel (there's a syn or two in smoked mackerel, but full of whatever it is oily fish has and good for pregnant women I'm sure)
Cheese (LowLow or half-fat cheddar) with some thin sliced onion or pickled onion
Marmite?
Boiled egg sliced, or chopped up with mayo (but tell your companions you have egg sandwiches or they might think you have sneaky wind)
Sliced chicken (ready cooked thighs with skin removed)
What would a coleslaw sandwich taste like (I've never tried it, I don't like the very word c o l e s l a w it sounds like cold sore to me)
do you like tinned fish, sardines, salmon, tuna? make good sandwiches.
There, I never eat sandwiches but I've done my best with ideas for you!
and whoever was talking about knob size. Sorry. I sniggered.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Hugs to all that need it, especially Banjo. Hang in there!mymamma - sorry if this has already been discussed but have you thought about the 30 day shred exercise DVD. I've never actually tried it but I've heard a lot of people rave about it.
I used it when it first came out years ago and had good success. Still swear by Jillian's DVDs, but tend to use her newer workouts now. Ripped in 30 is my current favourite of the standalone DVDs. Body Revolution is amazing but very expensive because it's 15 discs.
A weird EE day...
Breakfast - Wasn't feeling well, so just a small wholemeal roll (plain, HEB) and not even half a small glass of OJ (2)
Lunch - Jacket potato with lean ham and cheese (HEA) and a side salad.
Dinner - Lean sausages, small handful of wedges, lots of veg and a bit of gravy (I'll estimate 6 syns for everything)
Pudding - WW banoffee whip (less than half, so saying 2)
Didn't feel like snacking, so a bit short on fruit today. Oh well.
Thinking about trying red days (not normally that keen on carbs, so thinking red makes sense - but can always switch to green if I'm in a carby mood like today!) for the extra HEs, must dig my books out to see what's involved since I skipped over those bits to focus on EE to start.0 -

Sorry not been checking in recently, a bit down as think wife is having an affair.
WI this morning recorded 1.5 lbs loss.
Still slow going. Over 60 in our Group now.
Well done to everyone who is losing and hugs to those that are struggling.
Hi hun, sorry to hear you have been feeling down. I can relate somewhat as my oh doesn't seem to want me to stick to my diet at all. The last 3 days in a row he has bought packs of cakes & offered me one even though he knows i'm on a diet.
The funny thing is he used to moan at me for eating cake & say "I don't eat cake i'd rather have an apple". All of a sudden he eats cake & decides that when i'm trying my best to lose weight to do it.
We will show them eh hun? :AI'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.
