Hello All. So day 2 of trying very hard as I stayed the same at my first weigh in.
Please keep and eye on me and tell me if I am going wrong....

    B - 2 and half !! (60 gram) wholemeal nimble with beans
L - SW tomato soup (lush), pasta with a low fat yog and tabasco dressing with slices of chicken (not real chicken the stuff from the chilled cabinet) with a mixed salad and a muller light
    S - banana
D - SW tomato soup, gammon (all fat cut off) new potatoes, and a bag of carrots and green beans with teaspoon of mint sauce (1/2 syn)... going to have another muller light..

I've probably gone overboard describing what I have had but after you put me right about the McCain jacket potato I though it was best just to double check.

    Thanks a lot

Oh I'm not a veggie but there are days when I'm having a meal that doesn't contain meat or fish. Should I just make it a Green day then?

I'm not vegetarian, but do have many meat-free days without really thinking about them - however EE is so easy to follow that I always follow it. Many of the HEBs are included as free food on EE and I found I got myself in too much of a tangle trying to swap between systems (but I am dopey!) Unless you are crazy for bread-type things I don't see the point of green. That's just me, I hate bread (and pastry, and cakes, and biscuits - they kind of clag around your mouth don't they?)

Hope everyone is well, glad to hear the "first days" went well. The story about the son picking up his weight-loss in bags of potatoes is inspiring, thanks!
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Only thing i can see you may need here is some superfrees with your breakfast, mushrooms/toms or even a bowl of fruit just so you know those pesky superfrees are in there. Better to have too many than not enough.
What other syns are you having or are you saving them for the weekend?

kiwisaver, it looks like your muesli was your HEB yesterday but if you can buy Ryvita or similar crispbreads they could be used instead of crackers for a HEB, need to decide how many syns in each I suppose.:)

    :Ton losses, stick at it!

Thanks, yes I have been counting my muesli as the HEB, although it's probably not the best choice. I will try and figure out what would be the most optimal.

Although I have been trying to get out of my usual routine of having bread or cracker type lunches and trying to organise myself better with pasta and couscous salad, I will put some Ryvita on my next shopping list.

  • Sorry to hear your news TIE

    Today:
    B:porridge (1HeB) made with water, 1tsp golden syrup (2syn) and a banana
L:ham and cheese (from HeA) sandwich (2HeB), jelly (0.5syn), satsumas, banana, yogurt (2.5syn)
S:will have some special k cracker crisps (5syn)
T: pizza chicken (cheese from HeA) with veggies and mash = 0 syn! yay

    Syns: 10syn

Will weigh myself at the chemists on Saturday morning as I can't make WI tonight (gutted, I wanted the mag!). Might drop back to the usual EE plan for the week until the tournament next weekend!

Hope you all have a good day - had better sort myself for day three!

Yes I'm saving sins - being taken to the Indian for a family meal on Friday so as I didn't loose anything last week I thought I would try to save some.

Thanks for your comment about Breakfast- will have a bowl of fruit next time.

I really cant see how anyone can loose weight and eat as much as I am. I never did the last times I tried SW - I think I convinced myself that I was doing it right though but I am trying again ...hopefully it will click with me this time
