No seriously I went to Slimming World on Thursday to join up again after all this time, joined the Q and then left! I couldnt do it I wimped out. The thing is it was soooo busy like 60+ people which just put me off. So I thought I would do it at home again. The way it was last time I joined was "red" & "green" days, with an "a" option and 2 "b" options and 10-15 syns. Does this still work?
How I thought my days menu from yesterday went:
1 sachet of porriage Quaker oats = 1B & 1/2 A (Skimmed milk)
1 Kit Kat 2 fingers = 5.5 syns
X3 Sweet onion crispbreads with dairylead = 1B & 1/2 A (Skimmed milk)
Mushroom omlet =free
Boiled Potatos = free
Peas = free
Apple = free
Green day. The thing is I wasnt sure how many crispbreads I was allowed, back in the day I use to have 2 slices of nimble instead of crispbread. But like I said it's been years since I went so not sure if any of the above is right?!
If you are happy following the original and green days then thats fine but the extra easy is what is pushed at groups now.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

What does the extra easy plan mean? What plan is more effective? Or do they both achieve the same results?0
-
Extra easy means all extra lean meats, pasta, rices, potatoes etc are all free. Most Veggies and fruits are superfree and your plate must contain 1/3rd of these. There is only one Healthy A and one Healthy b section.
This plan is pushed through groups now because theres very little work required to make it work.
Theres a 7 day menu here so you can see how it all works together now on EE.

RFD you are in my thoughts as are the people in my life who are going through similar although now terminal. Heard from my Headteacher today that my work colleague's husband is being moved to a hospice this weekend so seems to be the beginning of the end
. We are having a councillor visit our school to help the staff come to terms and also help us to help our colleague and her son when the worst happens. Just can't begin to imagine what they are going through
.
And changing the subject [so so sad] have been watching son play rugby today in all sorts of weather, glorious sunshine, sleet, rain, hail & snow. Somebody up there thought it was funny. Son drove us there [stomach is still churning thinking about it
] he did ok though hubby was a wreck [is rubbish passenger]. Hubby drove home due to weather and the fact son couldn't drive as took knock to knee which is now very swollen. Game was called before end as one of our players had seriously broke his arm and ambulance was called. He's still in hospital awaiting op as both bones in forearm snapped and twisted _pale_. Not a happy ending even though we won convincingly.
Anyway food for yesterday not worth mentioning [was a naughty muncher]
Food today a bit better
B - weetabix milk [a] coffee & glass of water
L - nothing due to rugby
S - french fries [4.5?]
T - hm carrot/lentil soup with pasta
S - ripple [9?]
Syns - 13.5?
WI not looking good then :rotfl:
Oh well, big well done to all the losers & keep the faith all :A:A:AIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
Keep the Faith All

So it being Sunday, it must be WI day for me.
-1lb. I was hoping to hit the stone mark today, but that's what you get for drinking a whole bottle of champagne to yourself! So I will take that one on the chin and be grateful it wasn't a 1lb on
So a grand total so far of -12lb.0 -

LOVE this!Ate a big lump of quiche earlier.
Because someone gave it to me for free.
Tis hard sometimes to balance the money saving and the loosing weight!!
I definitely agree Beanie, I find my shopping is costing more as I'm buying more fresh fruit and veg... but then I prefer fresh fruit to frozen so I suppose I can't complain at snacking on healthy things!
Yesterday I managed to stay on plan until we went to watch the England/Scotland rugby match and I started on the alcohol... then on our way home in the early hours of this morning OH bought sausage and cheesy chips which I ate  But I did do about an hour of scottish dancing, so much so that my legs are aching this morning so hopefully I've kinda counteracted it! SW friendly breakfast this morning for everyone.... sausage, beans, bacon, eggs, brown breadBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

My shopping probably is costing more at the moment, but I am thinking that when I have lost a lot more weight , I have three or four stones to lose, I will be less heavy, and less panicked about not having enough food , I think my brain will regulate my eating more. I am determined to focus this time and see it through to the Bitter ( FITTER! ) end .:D
I aim to regulate my portion sizes when I have lost 2 stone. I Love Sw because by taking the guilt away it enables me to focus on feeling good about myself, and motivated, never found this in a eating plan before, I do have a great consultant too, but I only found her by visiting a few classes-without any forms of payment !! until i found her, this is also a big part for me.She is very supportive and motivational, positive.
I am also calling in all the outside support I can, eg exercise buddies, phone support buddies etc x0 -

Take a look at the SW site. It explains it all on there and gives sample menus. I've been doing it since last May (and hubby but he doesn't go to group) and we've both lost about 1st 10lbs each.
I do know people who have been on it and have lost double (easily) in the same time as me but however I try and lose weight it's always a slow process.
I prefer it to Red and Green and I don't really have to plan much, I just do it.0
