Well, I got on the scales this morning and it registered a 6lb loss. I don't quite believe it but I've been stuck on a plateau for a bit, so maybe my body finally played catch up. Takes total loss so far (since the end of June) up to just shy of 4st.
Don't have a menu plan past my usual breakfast yet for today, must have a rummage. We're out for dinner for a friend's birthday and I have no idea what the menu will be like. So I think I'll stick to free food only for the rest of the day, as it will no doubt be synful.
Banjo - are there any treats your wife likes that you don't? My husband is supportive of my efforts but does have a sweet tooth, so we keep a small stash of things only he likes so I'm not tempted by them. Otherwise I'd go with Stef's plan, brilliant. :rotfl:
Crikey, a 6lb loss! Well done you! :T:T:T
As for the treats, no, I'm afraid I also like choc. Especially with a bit of red wine.
I can't believe I've spent the last 3 hours shopping and chopping.
I've made 20 SW pakoras, but with fresh veg as have a lot of broccoli to use up.
It's going to be hard watching the rugby without a couple of beers and some crisps.
My meal plan today:
B. 2 mini wholemeal sub rolls hex B with turkey rashers. Kiwi fruit.
L. Massive plate of broccoli with a couple of slices of chicken.
D. SW chicken tikka with SW pakora, yogurt and mint dip.
Syns a small bottle of lager or 2
Good luck everyone :beer:0 -

lush, this has been my problem throughout, I've had to pay a few times. Officially I think you're meant to have extra HEXs but I prefer to have extra syns:o I think what you're doing is a good idea: having syns when you're eating out rather than having stuff at home to tempt you. I also reintroduced some meals at home which I had sort of banned (my choice as I save syns) so cauliflower cheese came back plus other dishes with cornflour or sherry etc in the sauces. You could eat the mince that your bf likes. If you go out/away you could afford to go flexi. If all else fails and you go under target (you'll have a week to get back) you'll just have to resort to biscuits, chocolates and crisps!:rotfl:
Thanks maman the next league weekend is in two weeks so I want to be around target for that - all set to keep that weekend 50% SW (just evening meals that won't be). Nice to be reassured that I have had a roughly decent approach to it though!
Just been shopping and got some new trousers, a new shirt and a couple of new bras (first since before SW!) ready for work this week then after payday bf will take me to the Next staff shop to get a suit that I can mix and match with other pieces************************************

Beanie that's EXACTLY how it's been today. I'm a 'binge eater', not 'just a little bit overweight and need to lose a few pounds' like some.
I think about food every second of every day. I'm totally adicted to eating.
So far today I'm winning though. I know that if I can get to a whole week, I can get to another and another and then I'll win.Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D
