It is likely that your wife will be less supportive tonight too so keep this thought to the fore of your mind while she is stuffing her face and it will help you stay on track :D

  • Evening all

Been mega busy these past 2 days..with uni & then the works AGM today so I have had 2 days off plan due to messed up routine. Also had some more crappy news this morning - my 30 year old cousin has a brain tumour that looks like its been growing for some time, he is to go for an operation in the next couple of days.

It is very worrying indeed & am praying that the op is a success. I don't think I could handle another death so soon after my brothers :(
The next few days will be stressful I imagine.. Trying not to think the worst but its proving difficult. :(

Will be back on plan tomorrow for definite ..need to decide what the menu will be soon.

So sorry to hear your news :( my thoughts are with you and your cousin.

Today won't be so great as it's pizza for tea care of bf's parents - I don't mind it actually and have been doing rather a lot more than usual, drinking more fluids and eating more but better. It's going to be today, tomorrow and Monday when evening meals are less SW friendly (well only the desert on Monday really!) but it's definitely making me less complacent about maintaining target as I'm obviously much more aware how much difference 'just a couple of meals' can make.

Breakfasts and lunches on track though and meal plan made for next week (tuesday-friday and Sunday)

    Today:
B: porridge (1HeB) made with water, banana chopped through it and 1 tsp of golden syrup (2syn)
    L: ham sandwich (2HeB), 2 satsumas
    T: pizza

Very conscious that I still don't think I'm drinking enough even though I've started drinking more than usual :/

Going to take some satsumas/bananas/apples in to work to keep on my desk and a few other treats to keep in my draw (all low syn!) incl some pink and whites, my favourite tea bags/starbucks via sachets/low syn hot choc etc. Think I will use each lunch break (60mins) to take a 30min walk whenever it's dry enough to do so out so I can stretch my legs and get a bit of fresh air :)

Well, I got on the scales this morning and it registered a 6lb loss. I don't quite believe it but I've been stuck on a plateau for a bit, so maybe my body finally played catch up. Takes total loss so far (since the end of June) up to just shy of 4st. :D

Don't have a menu plan past my usual breakfast yet for today, must have a rummage. We're out for dinner for a friend's birthday and I have no idea what the menu will be like. So I think I'll stick to free food only for the rest of the day, as it will no doubt be synful.

Banjo - are there any treats your wife likes that you don't? My husband is supportive of my efforts but does have a sweet tooth, so we keep a small stash of things only he likes so I'm not tempted by them. Otherwise I'd go with Stef's plan, brilliant. :rotfl:

Good for you! I can't swim very well so not sure it would benefit me in any way, plus too embarrassed to put on a swimsuit. I live in a very small community and I would be horrified if other folk saw me!
My legs and arms feel like jelly now lol
  • Life is hard :(

I'm sorry RFD. Hope all goes well. Sending you a huge hug x

Could someone help i'm totally confused...

    Today i've had:

Sachet of Porrige made with skimmed milk no sugar
    1 2 finger kit kat
X3 Sweet onion crispbread ryvita with 2 dairylea triangles
Boiled potatos, mushroom omlet made with frylight and no cheese and marrowfat peas
    1 Apple
1 Sweet onion crispbread with 1 dairylea triangle

Is any of that correct to eat or am I starting off totally wrong? I dont really like bread so have swapped for crispbreads but dont know how bad they are.

    presuming its EE

If the porridge sachet is oatso etc then that would have to be sinned now wouldn't it?
