im not due to weigh in until sunday ,
you are right about the breakfast thing of course, i knew it would be a problem as i hate having breakfast and have to force something to eat mid morning ( ie fruit ) as i cannot bear anything other than a hot drink until then. I used to drink several coffees first thing on a morning and at work but since quitting smoking four weeks ago i have switched it to green lemon teas instead as i try to get out of the coffee and ciggie habit , if you know what i mean.
but i do realise i need to try and eat something other thatn fruit on a morning and ill have a think about that for next week maybe ..... all the other meals are fine tho :) im always hank by lunch and dinner lol :rotfl:
In my first week or two of following SW i couldnt bear facing breakfast either and found by having a piece of fruit with my first cuppa the hunger soon came on earlier to a point where i could eat breakfast at a normal time and then make it through to lunch with no problems other wise my old habits meant skipping lunch and breakfast altogether and waiting till tea, metabolism then starting up so i could sit in front the tv with a box of chocs, crisps, nuts etc and then wonder where my weight had come from :o

yes i completely understand, i think for next week i will concentrate on forcing some sort of better breakfast down as i know my metabolism / body clock needs training a bit , its been a start just having some fruit so im getting there :):)

  • Good evening, hope everyone has had a good day.

I missed breakfast today, had a chicken pasta salad for lunch & a jacket spud with beans & salad for dinner. Pudding was a Muller Fat Free Greek Yogurt (0.5 syns) with chopped strawberries.

Snacks were 2 Alpen light bars (HEB) milk for tea (HEA) Snack A Jacks 23g bag (5.5 syns) jumbo (2.5 syns).

I'm finding myself not being as hungry, is this maybe because my body has gotten used to eating less?

Also could anyone kindly let me know if i've syned the Snack A Jacks correctly as upon Googling I got different figures. :A

I had caramel and sour cream & chive bags from the 4 bag multipacks. I've now swapped to the jumbo ones as they are less syns and have caramel & chocolate ones.

Sour cream and chive online come up as 22g bag - 4.5syns or 26g bag 5.5 syns
    Caramel jumbo - 2.5syns.

I have swapped crisps to the weight watchers ones from poundland, always look out for the multipacks of 5 not 4 so value for money and they work out at approx 3.5syns per pack. Really like the italian herb and chives ones at min as taste like cold pizza.

  • Thanks Stef. :A

I'm confused about the Muller Light yoghurts too. Are they free? I thought they were syned & buy the fat free greek style ones which I thought were 0.5 syns.

I'm going to have a look on ebay to see if I can buy a syn directory. Can anyone tell me what colour the latest book is as I don't want to buy an out of date one. :o

The mullerlight greek style are 0.5syns each and there maybe one or two of the original muller lights that are synned but i think these have been limited edition ones. The latest directories are purple. The link shows the latest one but please do not pay over the odds prices for these books!!!
