  • Good evening.

I bought a griddle today a my oh is always wanting to go to the kebab shop for a chicken shish. I loaded it up with chicken, red onions, mushrooms & green peppers & personally thought mine tasted even nicer than the ones from the shop.

He wanted chips but I thought rice would be healthier. I tried to shred the cabbage like they do in the shop but couldn't so it's a bit chunky but was still nice.

WTG Lush thats great news, now could everyone send well wishes for Mr TIE and his interview so he might get the job too :rotfl:, still got everything crossed :p

All my well wishes to Mr TIE! Believing that it is a great week for everyone as a couple of friends have had really good news this week too!

Hmm tomorrow I am working 8 hours on the research project I've been doing casual hours for so not much time for food prep etc.

    Currently planning:

Breakfast: Porridge (1HeB) made with half milk, half water (1/2 HeA) topped with a sliced banana and a tsp of golden syrup (2syn)

Lunch: tin of ravioli (1.5syn), 2 satsumas, yogurt (2.5syn)

    Snack at work: 2 satsumas

Tea: leftover spag bol from the freezer (5.5syn) with some pasta

    Total syns: 11.5

Drinks will be water, squash and tea (with the rest of HeA)

Will also take a special k biscuit break with me - it will take me to 16.5syn but I am at work for 8 hours and we have a lot of tea breaks due to the work causing a lot of eye strain ahaha

Just going to take half an hour or so to plan some tasty packed lunches for whilst at work (:j) from Monday as I will be taking my lunch everyday - mission to save money and also maintain weight as nearby we only have Subway/KFC/various burger bars unless i take a little hike to Boots on the high street and I can't guarantee time for that! Currently thinking: soups, leftovers (spag bol etc), sandwiches, salads come summer, savoury rices etc. Will have access to a microwave and a kettle so there's a few options :)
I have always liked to take mini picnics to work though as I often get peckish gradually and don't like to eat it all at once so will take a couple of snacks and a smaller lunch :)

  • Congrats Lush and good luck Mr TIE!

Today was a bit mad, had an event this evening and was rushing around through the day preparing. Don't think I did too badly though, but hard to count syns since it wasn't made by me...

    Breakfast - Porridge, banana, coffee
Lunch - Modified huevos rancheros (eggs, beans and brown rice with lots of tomatoes) and an apple
Dinner - This was provided at the event but went for what looked the healthiest which was grilled chicken, chickpeas, pumpkin and green beans. Lovely!

Going to have a FF yogurt now. Bit later than I would like, but a bit too hungry to go to bed. Stomach seemed to tolerate it yesterday.
