  • Can anyone think of a recipe with chicken and bacon other than chicken wrapped in bacon? I was thinking of maybe doing wedges for tea with some sort of chicken/bacon/passata on the side... would that be ok?

    I ate tons yesterday :o

    B. muller light yog and 30g muesli. Orange
    S. orange
    L. Leftover SW fish pie, broccoli, carrots
    S. muller light Greek yog. Orange.
    D. Grilled skinless turkey breast, SW wedgies, broccoli, carrots, courgettes.

My local supermarket had loads of reduced broccoli 30p a kilo. I love broccoli, any ideas as to what I can do with it, as it needs to be used sooner rather than later. I didn't know whether to put some in the Speed Soup.

You should eat loads every day banjo and have syns (unless saving them).

Banjo- I completely agree with Maman - you say you ate loads but that (plus syns) looks like a normal day for most of us! Not eating enough can hinder your losses as much as eating too much, so why not give bigger meals a try this week and see how it goes?

Broccoli roasted in the oven is good too, the edges go a bit crispy. Never done it with spray light though, always used olive oil but should work ok, and sprinkle with a bit of low low cheese, even my teenagers like it done that way.

This is absolutely my favourite way of having broccoli- I originally got the recipe from here but nowadays just give it a spray with frylight, plenty of salt and pepper and sometimes a sprinkle of garlic granules, mmmmm :D

I always add bacon to a chicken casserole too, it's lovely and makes it go a bit further too :)

    Food today EE....

B - Branflakes (b), banana, strawberries mixed with a FF Activia yogurt.

L - Curry savoury rice with loads of frozen mixed veg thrown in.

D - Pasta bolognese with lots of superfree in it and a big salad.

S - ham, grapes, Asda LF choc mousse. HEA - milk in tea, coffee.

Hope everyone's doing well today :D

Wish I had got more now :)

The Speed Soup looks great. It's very thick just how I like it. I'll tell my wife I've made a pottage for dinner :D
