thank you to you both blackberry and mumoftwo for your advice
i currently do not cook in bulk , however after reading through your posts this is something i am going to try and organise for next weekend when im off next, ill just hoof it this week, im lucky i have access to a kitchen at work so i can bring my own dinners in etc...
i have recently bought a rice cooker which i use alot ( kids lv it ) and too my delight theres lots of rice dishes that are syn free on EE i can use and dream up. i remember last time the syn free sw chips went down a treat with the young ones too .... reading through the recipes ive decided i will try and start make some home made soups for lunch, it would seem its all down to preparation and making time,
another thing , it would be a real god send (to me lol) if they upgraded their iphone app... does anyone on here use it? , it would be handy to be able to scan log foods in check syns etc using my phone, does anyone else agree with this or is it easy to pick up and remember ?
anyways thank you for the welcome and tips i do appreciate it
I find it better to go on slimming world website on safari.. it should then give you an option for mobile version.. miles better than the app
a scanner option would be great to find syn amounts!
I always cook a bit extra when doing things like chilli, curries, pasta etc.. have it for lunch at work..0 -
at work..jobs all done.. got the munchies!
lost count of the amount of times I've opened the fridge and biscuit tin.. resisted so far.. :A

Morning all!
Interview number three at 10am today! then getting the train off to wheelchair rugby training - it's £9.10 if you buy at the station...£4.10 if you book online, how can they possibly justify a £5 increase?!
Anyhoo, blustery Monday on EE is looking like this;
Breakfast; bran flakes (1stHeB) with milk (from HeA) and a banana slightly past it's best!
Lunch: ham sammich on a wholemeal roll (2nd HeB), satsumas, yogurt (2.5syn) and a pink and white (2.5syn)
Tea: our classic Monday spag bol (5.5syn)
Before bed: satsuma and a hot choc (2syn)
Total syns: 12.5
I have two extra satsumas stashed in my handbag in case I get hit by extra munchies on the train but I have my Kindle so I'm usually too distracted now hehe
Now I must get my behind in gear as I need to go to the cash machine and shop (to get change) before I go for the bus so I have a little under an hour to sort myself and look presentable************************************

Hey all,
WI tonight - not hoping for much considering the Pizza hut on Wed lunch, kebab on Friday night & generally not eating the 'good' stuff
Although this will definately change now because we found out last week that i am pregnant :j
I'm pretty sure i will be allowed to carry on with SW as it is approved my the midwife association, has anyone here followed SW whilst pregnant?
I'm still in shock, think DH is too!
Going to book an appointment with doctor today to discuss
I'm thinking once my countdown runs out to call target at that weight & aim not to put on weigh over the next 9 months - do you reckon that is reasonable?
Well done on all the losses xxx
Good luck Lush0 -

EE for me today...
Breakfast - Porridge made with water (HEB) and mixed berries
Snack - Apple and maybe a few almonds (2.5)
Lunch - Salad and some sort of free protein (probably chicken)
Snack if needed - Lactofree cheese (HEA) and ryvita (1.5)

Trying to avoid sugar this week, so happy with still hitting 10 syns without resorting to something sweet.Hey all,

Congratulations! I wouldn't aim not to put on weight at all, but you should be able to continue following SW and not gain more than is necessary. Speak to your doctor/midwife for approval and then your consultant as you may need to modify your plan, e.g. extra HEs.0
