    well done losers! ;)

off to work myself shortly.. prepared this time so sorted for meals.. I do 24hr shifts (do get to go to bed but rarely sleep properly) the long hours have been my downfall.. once all jobs done and people I support are sorted it can be a longggg time and the grazing always started!

had branflakes and banana for brekkie (a+b)
L: will be left overs from tea last night.. chicken in jerk seasoning with rice and veggies (onion, mushroom, courgette, spring onion, pepper - aromat seasoning) side salad
T: chicken, potatoes, veggies.. muller / fruit
syns: apetina cubes 2 (in salad) peanut hi-fi 6

have a good day all :)
  • TIE - so sorry to hear your news. :(

BCS - what size loaf is your bread? 400gr = 2 slices for hex b ( or 3 syns a slice) or 1 x 800gr = hex b(or 4 syns per slice). This is WM bread - white is not a hex b choice (for others who may be reading ) :D

Sharalee - well done on your loss (and anyone else - am on the iPad so struggling to scroll back up/ remember who else.. Sorry :o)

Lush - I was also the same when I first joined SW.. It took me ages to get to grips with red/green days as the consultant ( and again when I re-joined a couple of weeks ago) really hammered the ee plan down everyone's throats. No mention of the green/red days at all & didn't even take the booklet from the pack which IMO is not right. People should be given the right what plan they want to choose & each plan should be explained properly right from the off.
I actually prefer doing green/red days as I enjoy having the extra hex a/b choice & find I eat fewer syns as well. It took me ages before I started to feel confident in my menu choices ..
Still I do have a couple f EE during the week too ..it's just nice to having to think about the 1/3 super free all the time.

    D - salmon ,veggies & rice

I use the small 400g wholemeal loaves as I started having 2 slices for my HEB until I discovered I could have 2 Alpen Light Bars instead so just use 1 slice now & syn it. :D

Tie, sorry to hear your news. My kids are going through a similar thing right now. Their aunty had a stroke 6 years ago after giving birth due to medical negligence, she was left paralised down one side and blind on the opposite side. She soldiered on and lost an incredible amount of weight and everyone was really proud of her thinking she had made a conscience decision to lose the weight. Unfortunately this wasnt the case, she had been finding it increasingly difficult to eat and refusing medical help after the birth of her son until her mom intervened and got her to the gp. After a number of tests we were told in November she has incurracble cancer and was given 6-8 weeks. Fortunately she is still here and receiving chemo but it is making her extremely ill and spending more time in hospital than at home. With my daughter especially desperate to see her but the risk of infections being too high to risk it. This is just 18 months after losing my mom who was told she had terminal cancer and lasting less than 6 weeks. So you have my sympathies - just remember to look after yourself in all of the support you are offering others you need to keep your strength too.

Today my son has gotten up with a bug, visited the toilet a number of times and thought he was perking up as he was laughing at me doing my 45 mins on the Wii, well karma kicked his butt and has had him throw up all over the hallway so looks like he will be off school tomorrow now. He is off the sort that rarely gets ill so when he does contract anything it hits him hard.:(

    Meals today are EE,
B, 2 x nimble, 3 boiled eggs, banana and an apple..
    L, HM minestrone soup. Grapes.
T, roast chicken, boiled pots, white cabbage, broccoli and carrots.
    Hea, milk.
Syns weight watchers crisp things 3.5, dairy milk little one 6

Morning all & well done to all the losers :T:T:T

Still feeling very emotional this morning, hubby has never had so many hugs :p
Had WI and lost 1.6lb which am pleased with but if I don't have a very good week next week I KNOW it will catch up with me but hey ho will have to see how it goes. Got a huge bag of lentils and plenty of carrots ready for carrot and lentil soup for lunches. So heres hoping I don't gain.
Just for the record I do mostly green but with extra sf's. I can't get on with EE as a full week as usually gain so mainly do EE Sundays as love my roast. Now I am at target I tend not to count Sundays so do SW during week and am more relaxed at weekends which seems to work for me. Although I was too relaxed over Christmas so trying to get it back to where I was before. At the moment am 1.5lb under target so nearly there [like to be bottom end of target so have some flexibility].
Ok feel like I've waffled enough, keep the faith all and thank you all for the hugs [some more dodgy than others :grouphug: :rotfl:]
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Has anyone tasted the muller light Greek style yogurts? I'm in love with them and they are fat free. Last night I had 2 coconut ones and crushed 4 maltesers in them, 3 syns the lot for a big tasty dessert....have stocked up the fridge whilst on offer. They are £1 in Iceland for coconut and lemon flavours. £1.09 in co op for the strawberry. £1.09 (if you buyone get one free)in sainsburys for the cherry and honey/peach.
    Obsessed me?
    Kindness costs nothing :)
