Well just stirring all the pakora mix together, DS walks in asks what it is then says "have you made enough for me?" :)

    Hi maman,

I wasn't sure if I could save them up.?
On a different day I have used all 15.

I eat potatoes, having been having jackets with prawns.
    I don't like pasta.

Superfree's I wrote from the list that I can eat:
    Oranges
    Pickled Onions
    Beetroot
    Carrot
    Turnip
    Apple
    Banana
    Brocoli
    Sprouts
    Apples
    Grapes
    Pears

    Thank you
Hi MollyJoe, well I thought I was picky. but you like very similar foods to me with the exception of pickled onions i hate those but I love pickled cauliflower and I don't like cauli. I have eaten a little spaghetti and it's ok.
with the veg you like you can make some lovely soups adding lentils, barley and split peas.
Be careful with bananas, TOO many can stop you from losing weight.
I even put onion in my soups and any veg I'm not too keen on, i always blitz it and still know I am getting the goodness,
Do your best and try the soup recipes, if you need a certain recipe ask and I will look though all mine and send you a few.

Thank you, I am a terrible eater always have been.
I don't like anything with tomato in. Don't like pizza which may be a plus, struggle with beans with the sauce.

  • With regards to scan bran - if you make deserts/cake with it we were told it's best to syn it. The same as when you cook fruit. You've changed it and how filling it will be so it's not strictly a HeB any more

In my group we have been told something similar to this but not quite the same.

We are told that if you use the scan bran for cooking things like cakes you are then endorsing over eating because not only are you trying to eat the cake to fit in all your HEB but what ever other ingredients that go into it.

As for the availability of scan bran you can buy it in group at £1.20 a packet or in Holland and Barrett its around £1.75. Or in bulk buy from Amazon. It is very good for getting your fibre intake up and ah hem cleaning out the system to put it politely.
