I dunno, that doesn't seem an awful lot of food to me?

    Yesterday i had

B - Bacon and toast, banana, 3 clementines, yog.
L - Chilli with rice and cheese
D - home made black bean (mostly veg, some quorn) with HM egg fried rice.

I snacked on grapes all day, and had a pack of popcorn for syns (6) first time -very very delicious!!!! Here's a link showing the various other similar low syn treats

I am in love with the idea of that flavour pop-corn, xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • TakeItEazy, sorry to hear your news :(

All the family liked the pakoras, chicken tikka and mint yogurt dip. So the pizza took a back seat. I had only a small glass of red wine, so that must have been the least synful Saturday night I've had for many a year ;)

    Morning all. :hello:
Weigh in day today. -3lb for me (whoop whoop) taking my total to now 11lb. I tried on an old pair of work trousers yesterday in a size smaller. I'm wearing them to work today. :D
After weighing, I have got DH to remove the scales and hide them and they will only come back out next Sunday!
Back to work today for my 4 x 12 hour shifts, let's hope I don't end up doing 70 hours again as I still don't feel recovered!
Have a great Sunday everyone. Off to have my boiled eggs for brekkie :)
    x x

ETA-BMI has come down a smidge too :)
  • Well done sharalee :T

FE, as far as I know you can have a mixture of red and green days in a week but what's the difference (other than the extra HEXs) in a mix and match day and EE? On EE your Batchelors noodle pot shot (depending on flavour) could be free or few syns.

I suppose I like the structure of red and green days so having 2 Healthy A options / 2 Healthy B options. Mix to match always used to work for me - a green lunch (jacket spud) HEA of cheese, beans perhaps and then a red tea (steak, HEB for a jacket, roasted veg) other HEB for hi fi bar. EE (which I don't find very easy!) has replaced Mix to match days but only having 1 x A and 1 x B really seems to throw me ?!
  • Week 1 weigh day tomorrow & so far i've lost 2lb 2oz's, not quite the 6/7lb I expected.

Hopefully it will get better now I know what i'm doing. :o
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

I went shopping yesterday and bought things like leg of Lamb, chicken drumsticks, tuna, bacon, pasta, potatoes, eggs loads of veg and fruit. The shop came to £115 and will feed 5 for the week.

Today will be lamb roast, potatoes and veges.

Lunch will be bubble and squeak with poached egg and slice of bacon.

I have swapped semi skimmed milk for skimmed starting today so that I have enough for breakfast and splashes in my tea. It tastes ok so far.

Good luck to everyone for the week ahead (the force be with you!;))

  • A-ha! After my failure of a weighin yesterday (only quarter of a pound off) I weighed this morning (normally only once a week) and I've lost an extra pound. So that's alright then!

I would have loved to have someone better explain the red/green days to me as I really struggled at first with not having cereal/toast/porridge for breakfast and a sandwich for lunch! I couldn't get my head round it and my consultant was no help just regurgitating what was written in the books!
The mix to match sounds like it would have fitted in so much easier with our lives than EE did at first (purely because of rugby training etc and always being out in places without EE friendly options!) but I don't think people even talk about that in group any more!

    Today:
banana when I got up at 9.20
Just starting to feel hungry so I'm thinking some cereal and milk for breakfast as the milk needs using up soon. With a couple of satsumas

lunch: either chinese leftovers or beans and poached egg on toast. followed by fruit

tea: if the leftovers weren't eaten for lunch it will be them or chicken dinner - going to keep mine lower than usual in syns and have smash and gravy with my chicken and veg rather than a 3 syn yorkshire pud and roasties!

Ended up going out for a couple of drinks last night with bf's mum as it was her friends bday and bf was close with her kids when younger. He was on the coke as driving, i had a coke then his mum kept buying me halves of cider - I'm sure she just tries to get me drunk haha! Had been relatively good all day so hopefully no damage. 3.5days on plan now before WI on Wednesday, was supposed to be at cake club Wednesday night but have had to cancel as I have the rare opportunity to do a few extra hours at work and with doing so few hours at the min we need the money!

Interviews tomorrow and Tuesday so fingers crossed - the one tomorrow would be the best job for me ever and I would actually enjoy it!

Will be in and out through the day :) hope you're all good and not too wet from all the rain - very wet here but all our snow has gone :j

Well done, all the good work you've done and its starting to show, it's a great feeling isn't it :T I cant wait to find my clothes feeling baggy again.

Long shifts are a nightmare, I can only do 2 days in a row and need a day to recover!!:o
