And me again.... sorry!
Just wondered if I can do days of each EE/red/green in the same week?

We can also mix and match the days so its fine to have say 2 red, 2 green and 3 extra easy days in one particular week. I have never really got on with extra easy as I'm a red/green girl but I'm going to give it a try when I have got the new book and got organized !

Yes you can. :T its very flexible - you don't have to be stuck with a whole week of green/extra easy or red. just remember that if you are following Extra Easy, you can only have one healthy extra A option/ one healthy extra b option BUT for red and green days you are allowed TWO healthy extra a/b options.0 -
Beef, mince, extra lean, less than 5% fat, raw/cooked without fat, 100g Free Free 6½
Beef, mince, lean, less than 12% fat, 100g raw 2 2 9
Beef, mince, less than 20% fat, 100g raw 6 6 12½
Beef, mince, more than 20% fat, 100g raw 9 9 14.5
That's what it says on line about mince. The leaner ones are definitely far more expensive. I sometimes buy the 5% one from Waitrose and pad it out with loads of SFs to make it go further. You can cut the syns a bit by draining as much fat as possible off the others.0 -
Hello all and a Happy New Year to you. I am determined to stick to the Slimming World plan much more honestly this year!
I am giving the original plan a try as I want to try cutting out wheat and so will be looking at low carb options. So far today I have had an 2-egg bacon and cheese omelette with beans. Using as a healthy extra A ( allowed two of these on original) some Isle of Mull cheddar - found it to strong tasting on its own but it is delicious in the omelette. Yum yum!

Hi All, wondering if I can join? Am looking to lose three stone, following SW, but I have the paperwork from my family, so am not going to classes, mainly because we are also DFW's and trying to clear as much debt as possible.
So far I've been on this diet since Saturday, and it's going well so far. Have bought the latest SW mag and last night we had the HM burgers, chips and pepper sauce and salad from it, that was lush. Tonight it's jamaican pepperpot beef, which also looks delish. I'm making some syn free pakoras at the moment.
I got DH today to take a photo front on and side on of me in my undies, which was just horrific, but I'm hoping it will a. spur me on and b. give me a sense of how far I've come when I lose the weight. ive got dh to take photos in my underwear and he has taken one later and you would not beleive the difference. its such a good thing to do as sometimes i think your shape can change and maybe the scales dont move so much. IYKWIM.
im too back on sw. ive done it over christmas but have had one day off and had 30 syns each day for ten days. all controlled but lots of goodies. on my day off - xmas day i didnt eat loads and i had 122 syns. its soooo easy to eat loads.
ive put on about 5 pounds and will easily get that off in the next two to three weeks.
this is a fab forum. it shows we all have ups and downs.
to the lady ( i assume) that said she went out of her area to go to class as she was embarrased. EVERYONE will look at you and go GOOD ON YOU. never feel embarrased. your doing a good thing by going to sw. be proud.

Me too - putting it inside my cupboard! but dont want anyone to freak out when they go in for coffee so clothes it is!

Well last night was my last night of indulgence for a while! Went round to bf's parent's house where we had a beaut little buffet (no chinese take out as previously planned as bf hasn't been feeling up to anything substantial due to being fluey) and a (fair) few drinks and then the four of us went to town where him mum put vodka in every one of my diet cokes/lime and sodas haha - ah well overall a good night and I had fun
No gain last week but oddly hoping for a gain at WI tomorrow as that way I will be more motivated to give myself a proper kick up the a**e to get back on plan to be at target asap! hehe
Was expecting to have a day of snacking today but I've had two mini waffles with a tsp of jam (1 syn each waffle, 1 syn jam) and squash! I just don't feel hungry at allTake out tonight though as neither of us can be bothered to cook! And tomorrow I will be going for it 1000%
