Why not add some tomatoes to up your superfree content. Perhaps have some melon too with your satsuma?

I buy the Te$co light choices cumberland sausages. when I last checked, these were 1 syn each. :j
some members I know measure their milk into a separate jug so they don't have too much.

The asda yogurts are the ones in the 450g tubs they are scrummy. I read on minimins that they are free. The blueberry one and rhubarb and vanilla ones are the two I tried. :T
I have to get some more as daughter took a liking to them.
minimins is a great site by the way, full of info/food diarys to peek at and loads of recipes too.
Happy new year to all of you, this IS our year.:j:j:jOD £500
Bank of mum an dad £800
Back bills £3000 -

Thanks so much FE. The sausages are from the butcher so I can't really tell what syns they are. Thought I would err on the side of caution and have them higher rather than lower. I have the T*sco butchers choice half fat ones in the freezer for next time, just need to use these ones up.
I have put the milk in a separate jug, so I guess I'm doing not too bad
Off out now for a wee stroll with DH and the hound, for once it's not raining and blowing a hoolie0 -

You're certainly getting the hang of it. :T All I'd add to FE's comments is that your DH's juice has to be synned and doesn't count as a SF. It's about 2 syns for 100 ml. When I was getting to target I gave up my morning juice and substituted it with Ribena (NAS). I didn't think the juice was worth the syns.
I understand you using up stuff but when you are ready to shop Sainsbury's cumberland sausages (the premium brand) are half a syn each and they're yummy!
Happy New Year all!
I've made us a lovely beef in red wine casserole for later. There will be syns in wine and a tbsp of cornflour but shared with DH not too bad and plenty of SFs in it and with it. Ironically I was below target at my last WI and so could afford a few treats but I can't stop eating the SW way. It's a brilliant plan.:D0 -
Yes I saw that maman, not worth the syns in my opinion either. I also didn't have ketchup which I would normally have. I would rather save the syns for something that is actually worth it.
Thank you for the advice, I do appreciate everyone that is giving me advice and tips :T0 -
Woke up this morning with a bad head
self inflicted so no sympathy needed!
I've also been feeling queezy so have had to force the following down....I havent had any super free but I will make up for it later...
Supposed to be on EE as first day but think I may change it to a Red day....my leader only showed me EE when I joined last night? is that the norm now? Luckily I've done this before, obviously not very well but I will get there....think makeral in tom sauce is going to be my saviour....ooh I'll stink!
B - Oats so simple cinnamon oats (HB plus as 0.5 syns?), with skimmed milk (HA)
L - Tinned makeral in spicy tom sauce
I've had a couple of coffees too...buffet at MIL's later but I'll stick to the salad, chicken, ham, eggs....but I'll update again soon.

We're on a very tight budget this month so will try and use up whats in the cupboard...I have lots of batchelors savoury rice and pasta n sauce, hoping they are still either free or low syn! I will have to check. So much to try and remember....I have a george foreman grill unopened in the garage, I must get it out as I remember using my old one frequently last time!
So many things to do ..... so much rambelling .... hope you don't mind!
I use to also have a list of all the syns for minced beef...not sure if anyone still has one or could point me in the right direction please?

Yes I think the consultants only talk about/introduce the extra easy plan but red and green days still exist and we are free to pick whichever plan works for us. We can also mix and match the days so its fine to have say 2 red, 2 green and 3 extra easy days in one particular week. I have never really got on with extra easy as I'm a red/green girl but I'm going to give it a try when I have got the new book and got organized !0
