BCS your bread looks like it has come from an 800g loaf - for EE it needs to be either 1 slice from that size loaf or 2 from 400g loaf. You cajun chicken meal has no SFS as peas and sweetcorn are only free foods.

The bread is from a small 400g loaf.

I can't get the hang of this sfs thing. :o

I guess i'll just have to have salad on the side of everything.

If you have the books it quite easy to look in the first few pages and see the SF fruit and veg. It shocked me this evening to see that mangetout and baby corn are SF when peas and corn are only free?!

I just assumed that all fruit & veg was. :o

I'll have to read through the books again tomorrow.

If I don't lose anything Monday at least i'll know why. :o

If you have drastically changed your diet to how it was previously you should still see a change, in most it would really show up after the initial losses and then need further investigation as to what else can be altered.
Parsnips are another that are only a free food :(

I'm making cottage pie tomorrow so will be having mushrooms & onions (in the mince) then broccoli, carrots & peas on the side. :A

My mum & sister did the plan last year but obviously did it wrong as they never said about the sff when they explained it to me.

The books they gave me might be out of date too. :o

Does the book you have cover the Extra Easy plan? This could make the difference to what you are reading now as the plan alters slightly each year with more research carried out.

If you are unsure of weights of things to be having it doesnt take 5 mins for some of us that attend group and have access to SW online to check values for you. ;)

Thats right, last year it was 32g of porridge but now gone up to 35g. This has also removed the option to have the handy packs of Oats So simple as they were a lower weight and not containing as much fibre. Your milk for you Hea has also chnged, if having Skimmed its now 350ml. 250ml for semi and 175ml for whole.

Some great posts, lots to think about.

    menu today:
    ff yoghurt banana and blueberries

baked beans, smash and brussel sprouts and mixed veg (needed something quick)

potato mashed with sauerkraut and Sainsbury's l/f sausages (1 1/2 syn)

HEX A: 3 babybell light HEB: 3 chili Ryvita, cucumber

syns: not sure yet, keep them for evenings.

I find evenings quite hard. I can mindlessly eat lots of food. I need to change this habit and maybe start using syns during the day and not keep them for evening nibbling. I am going to do my crocheting to keep my hands busy.

Hope you are having a good day! :j

You've hit it on the nail - my downfall is evening, - I nibble, graze, get fed up, -
    Thank you xx
