  • Good luck with the interview Lush :)

Well I resisted the chocolate cheesecake :p

Was told my drug delivery would be a morning one today. So was waiting, not even daring to pop into shower. It came at 11.59am.

So just back from shopping for tonight's SW fish pie. Couldn't find any zero fat fromage frais though. Will have to work out syns with 3% fat.

    B. muller light yog with 30g muesli. Orange.
    S. Orange.
    L. Leftover veg stew. Orange.
    D. SW fish pie. Sprouting broccoli. Green beans.

Naughty quaff of chilled white wine.

Can't help feeling a bit down over yesterday's disappointing WI. My spring has definitely gone from my step. Just realised that I haven't had a sip of wine since last Friday. Unfortunately that led to my slip. So must be vigilant tonight.

    Banjo, im a lurker :o

Why don't you count for two measured glasses tonight and syn them? SW is not about guilt or depirvation, so if you want wine, have some wine! :j Count it and get on with it. I've lost just over 3 stone, and had chinese take out and rum most weekends. You can't just stop life because you're trying to lose weight. It needs to be sustainable for life, so make changes you can stick to for the long term. xxxx Or did you find the wine lead to you making the wrong decision?

Don't beat yourself up and try to remove the guilt. You're not bad or pathetic or awful because of this weeks weigh - day by day.

Lush - good luck for the interview.

really nice to see some of the older faces around.:A Lots of new ones too

Penny - have you tried reducing your exercise for a week? I used to go 2-3 3 mile walks per week , plus cycling to and from work. Once i stopped the big walks, the weight came off at a more regular rate

I was a slow loser - it took me from Jul 11 - Aug 12 to loose 3 stone 3.5

Still maintaining here - lost 4.5 this week as had gone just outside my target range last week. Think christmas took a week or two to catch up! Sometimes think about putting my target down another half stone but so many people have told me not to loose any more (even though im not skinny, id say im a curvy 12)

Someone asked about extra lean pork mince - is it definitely free? I was reading some old mags the other day and one (2 or 3 mags ago) said tesco extra lean pork mince was the only pork mince which was free. It could have changed since then - i don't eat pork mince but just wasn't sure.

Someone else mentioned prawn crackers - my consultant told me it's 3 -4 syns for a chinese made prawn cracker so again, just be careful!!!!!x
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Well I did eventually get dressed, and it did eventually stop raining for a wee while. So I dragged my lazy butt out for a walk on the beach with DH and hound. My face is just about thawing out :D

Funny enough, there weren't many people on the beach today!

    Hi everyone.

It has taken me a while to catch up with the latest posts. I have my 3rd weigh in tomorrow and not sure how it will go. I have fallen into the trap of weighing at home and must STOP it as it can send me in a downward spiral.

I lost only 1lb my first week, gained it again last week and was gutted as I had followed EE 100%. Decided to do a mix of EE/Red/Green as have lost weight successfully before on the Red/Green plan. Was ill Sun and Mon and lost 3lb! Woo hoo I thought. Stuck to the plan (mainly green) and weighed at home yesterday to find I had gained 2lb of the 3lb lost. This sent me over the edge as I have forgone cheese/alcohol and crisps. In fact I am more miserable now than before I started SW? Anyway I had a huge binge last night and I have to confess

5 (yes that isnt a typo) bags of crisps, 2 wraps with ham, spinach and hot pepper sauce, a curly wurly and 2 cans of cider. Oh my.
Woke up this morning absolutely disgusted with myself. Dreading weigh in tomorrow and was going to bottle out of it and not go, although I have bought a 12 week countdown, but reading Frogga's experience made me feel that all was not lost and I am not alone.

"All life experiences are connected. The pieces of the jigsaw you put in place today will be part of who you are in the future".

Going to focus on that positive thought.
