A pair of trouser shoes and some sandals given to DS1's girlfriend on Sunday
Decluttered 2 motorbike panniers via Ebuy - HUGE box!!
Some odds & sods listed so we'll see how that goes.
Not a lot else done apart from a couple of Christmas decorations that got missed now up in the loft with the rest.
I've bagged up all my old Christmas cards to take to Mr M's - already sorted out the ones I can cut up for tags
Hoovered, dusted bedroom & moved bed (Oh where does all the cats hair come from!) did all the edges - looks really nice & tidy .....at the moment:)Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
After days of inactivity I have managed to have a good day :j
So far I have done the airing cupboard and got rid of 6 bobbly sheets and 5 marked pillow cases, 4 ratty towels and a pile of OH past there best work clothes. These have either been cut up for cleaning clothes, packed neatly in a box for dust sheets and put in the garage or binned.
Old computer (which we were given which is no longer used) to tip.
OH clothes sorted and taken to Sally Army clothes bin.
I old duvet to bedding recycling and 1 used to stuff 2 draught excluders I made about 2 years ago and nothing to stuff them with:o
Also cleared out the bedding box which has kid's fancy dress outfits and face paints in. Outfits and bits and bobs now in individually labeled bags and old tat binned.
Plastic and cardboard recycling done:D
Now have the underneath of two beds to do, a computer table to get rid off and the garage :eek: to do and then I am done:jOriginal mortgage £112,000 . Final payment due August 2027.
Mortgage neutral achieved August 2020 - 7 years early!!!0 -
Had a mad fifteen minute dash this morning, wanted to fill a bin bag and get it out before the bins were emptied! Ended up doing two full bags, all the stuff hanging round by the fridge and freezer.
Boxes, old carrier bags, a load of stuff my dad gave me for the cs which to be honest was only fit for the bin.
All gone!
Now doing fifteen in my bedroom, putting washing away and sorting two shelves in the wardrobe, I reckon it shouldn't take more than fifteen minutes, then start tea, hm sweet potato and red pepper soup and roast veg/houmous ciabatta.:j0 -

With the kids help, had another go at the hall and decluttered:
4 hats
2 bags
2 pairs of gloves
5 odd gloves
Hood (don't have coat any more)
Flip flops
Also matched up a couple more hoods with coats.
Have put all the reusable shopping bags in the kitchen, where they are now looking suspiciously like clutter! Hmm might have to thin them down, maybe keep some in the car? But then the car will be cluttered.....0 -

Wow, Donna, your bedroom looks amazing! Well done you!
Tomorrows itinery is going to be a bag from my bedroom and another bag from the little hallway by the freezer which attracts stuff like nowhere else on earth.
So that will be TEN bags out of the house
Head first into my clutter and get rid!0 -
Donna, that is amazing!! Well done, it must feel great.
I shredded some more paperwork today, plus found some (well) out-of-date crisps in the cupboard - they're in the food waste bin now!Enjoying the power and freedom of letting things go.

Well there's nothing else for it. I want to do some more decluttering. And after looking at others plans on here. Here's my own below.
Basically it involves specific tasks for each room. And the areas which are still REALLY bad, when I declutter anything from them I'm going to aim to declutter a minimum of 10 items! Once the amount of stuff has reduced in the really bad areas I can then look to clear the shelf, floor etc. One step at a time
· Flylady and declutter 500 things in January! 293/500
· Reduce Spare room stuff by 10 items a time. Clear floor, desk, bed
· Sort Lounge papers with wallets. Clear table/shelves
· Clear Bedroom windowsill, boxshelf, floor
· Reduce Garage stuff by 10 items a time
· Reduce Loft stuff by 10 items at a timeDeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
:cool2: Cherryprint: "More stuff = more stuff to tidy up!" Less things. Less stuff. More life.Fab thread: Long daily walks
