    Binned today:

    5 assorted utensils
Corkscrew that I can't work out how to use
    Frying pan
    Plastic lids without boxes
    Rusty bread tin
    Salt holder

Found myself getting stressed about all the decluttering yesterday, nearly gave up today. However a friend did comment on how much better my hall looked, so thought I would have a little go at doing just 10 items, which I have achieved.

I'm finding myself getting overwhelmed with how much stuff we have, then decided what to keep and what should go, whether I should try to sell it, where etc. Is anyone else feeling like that?
  • Started sorting out my undergrad notes and essays, got a little overwhelmed and emotional so the box and notes have been scattered on my floor for the past few days :(

I've gotten rid of a bin bag of clothes to the charity shop, and have some jewellery I haven't worn in over a year up on eBay for 99p atm. Still got to tackle those notes and sort things into photo albums.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to store postcards? I collect them and they're just wasting away in a plastic bag.

You should be able to find postcard albums like photo albums. I know it involves buying more stuff but if they are worth it to you then it's ok (like me with my cd collection) :D

  • been researching project 333 and have just decluttered my clothes! a few items only fit for the bin, a few to cs and the rest will be stored until baby arrives. shoes no longer fit my feet so sticking to uggs for next few weeks! i reckon i,ve got 30 items which actually fit! this number is decreasing as my tummy expands! have had a quick look into kids w robes.... 70 + items each... not buying a thing until they grow into next age size! this winter they have 5 coats each.... next winter they will have 2! I hav caught the decluttering bug!

Monday again, so back to work :(

Don't they come around quickly

So not much decluttering today :o

Rather elderly apple and satsuma left over from last week decluttered into my packed lunch :rotfl:

Item that arrived (much) too late, courtesy of Royal Mail, for its intended purpose of a Christmas present for DGD, packaged up ready for OH to post tomorrow. They have refunded, so it needs to go - and now it won't be cluttering up the dresser any more!

Junk leaflets etc delivered by postman to recycling

Empty washing up liquid bottle to recycling

Decluttered the last few bits of the Christmas Turkish Delight :oand recycled the box

Financial paperwork for OH completed and ready for him to post tomorrow, remainder put away.

i was really overwhelmed last week but as i started to notice a difference i feel determined to keep going. i often try to find a few things in the kitchen whilst kettle boils etc so far i have not missed anything i have got rid of! i am going to try and sell some things but the bulk goes to cs as i think many are struggling. keep ur chin up!
