Didn't get to the hall and stairs as I had to go out, but came back and blitzed my work tops in the kitchen. Just need to free up some cupboard space so I can get my actifry put away but it is looking better than it has for ages :T

Only problem is the bin is full and they're not coming till Wednesday.

    Hello

Well done everyone, some great decluttering going on.

Our local hospice have asked for donations of bottles so we have decluttered our wine rack of wine we will not drink. DH delivered it to them today. Think he took about seven bottles! Another bottle will go when DD takes it round to her friends.

Hoping to get some more done this weekend.

I have a load of badges from old Smash Hits magazines. does anyone know if people sell them, are they collectors items or should I just put in CS bag? :undecided

Just out of curiosity I searched eBays closed listings for Smash Hits badges. Somebody sold a job lot of 20 badges for £4.99, but apart from that there weren't many takers.

It you want them out of the door fairly quickly, the CS may be the best bet

  • Right its Friday night so instead of going out partying (as if) I'm off into the freezer - not literally obviously - time to take everything out of the freezer, list what I've got and am sure some of it will need to go in to the bin.

Hopefully I'll be able to get a new freezer drawer front next year as one was so full of stuff that part of it broke off when I tried to open it.

Had a bit of a clear up whilst doing the kids' baths:

Electric toothbrush and heads (worn out)
Toothbrush (used it to do a bit of scrubbing first)
    6 toiletries

Also removed all the stickers from the cupboard doors on the landing, much to my daughter's annoyance, apparently she was collecting them there.
