Have I managed 10 items yet today, let's see:

Pile of boxes from daughter's dolls clothes
Smashed vase (thanks to DD again for that little bit of pre-emptive decluttering)
2 packs of ice cube bags
    Out of date mouthwash
Ornament that I don't really like

Not there yet, will have to regroup and find 5 more items later. Looking forward to the kids going back to school....

Thanks for the reminder about the NCT - I'd completely forgotten about them.

I've managed to declutter my kitchen books shelf. I've made enough space to put my gardening, foraging, herbal and aromatherapy books there as well as the cookery ones. :T

Two cookbooks are going to charity, three are to be looked at in a bit more detail but the intention is to let them go and I am about to tackle all the loose leaf paperwork and recipe file since most of it hasn't been touched in years. Wish me luck - the aim is that it goes in the bin!

Just about to start a 15 min declutter, will return with what I have managed to declutter

    - emptied the kitchen of all the plastics, glass and paper as the recycling was collected this morning.
    - swept the front path and removed all leaves and debris that seem to collect outside the front door.
    - pulled the tumble drier out and tidied up the carrier bag stash and hoovered behind.

In - set of three hearts saying I love you from OH; 4 nightlight holders from CS

Large carrier bag of clothes that no longer fit DS ready for charity shop, and a huge bundle of paperwork from DD's room put in recycling box. Huuuge pile of stuff sat in my hall at the moment waiting to be taken to CS !!

And already another bag of rags (sheeting that should have gone yonks ago). Admired my airing cupboard again :D landing decluttered. Oh and decluttered end of banana bread (made by Dd1 from overripe nanas and some xmas chocolate) by having for breakfast with custard nom nom. Also remembered to cut foil used for covering it to sharpen kitchen scissors, so all very mse
So cutting foil sharpens scissors Dundee? :o

Had 2 ins today. A magazine which I'll read and pass to a friend. And a little bag. So something will have to go out to equal that in.

    TO DO:
    • Food cupboards and freezer - actually use stuff before buying
    • Under-stairs cupboard
    • Cleaning cupboard
    • Shed (hubby's job)
    • DVDs
Well today I've sorted out the cleaning cupboard! Also found some old gold jewellery onlt 9carat but have been reading here on MSE about selling gold and have got a quote from the company recommended on here. Should get around £80 back :T (depending on if it passes their inspection when they receive it)

Keep up the good work everyone :) CBQx
