yes sorry, didn't make it very clear, the merged thread has been locked too; no doubt Pink will be on the case when she has chance... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

ooops - poor Pink! She's gonna be inundated with pm's - cos I've sent her one as well :rotfl:.
I'm going to have a go at listing my 'chuckouts' -
1. 1 kids video – got it on DVD so it can go to CS
2. 1 Android phone case (got rid of phone last year) – dumped into rubbish
3. 1 Ikea shopping list – from last summer – recycling
4. Junk mail – sorted into what could be recycled and what couldn't
5. 1 'O2 Ice phone earpiece' (2006) – dumped into rubbish
Have also 'decluttered' living room furniture - all now back into pre-Christmas positions so dining table is more accessible for eating off. Still looking very neat and tidy:j.

As I'm here, and the other threads are locked, yesterday afternoon DS1 and I cleared up in his room :-
3-12 various items, including a keyring collection, in CS bag
13 pile of various papers to recycling
14-27 books, in CS bag
28 old Xbox game, worthless, in CS bagEnjoying the power and freedom of letting things go.
Decluttering - January 2024 - 89 physical objects, over 700 emails/digital decluttering 🎊 🏅🏅0 -
Well at least it happened at the beginning of the year and be sorted
. ( new tread merged and blocked I mean).
Last year I was posting on a Christmas craft thread that was merged a few months in with a thread the mod started herself. It was bedlam. Nothing made sense. All the post numbers of ideas I and others had saved no longer meant anything. I think a lot if us gave up posting.0 -

Have you thought about taking the Xbox games into Game. Even if they are only worth 50p each he would have £14 towards a new game.
(That's if Game still buy used games)0 -

I have taken the other son's game (the same one) into CEX and they won't buy it, either. It was only one Xbox game - it was number 28 on the list of items I am decluttering in January (hopefully 100)!
Most Xbox games in this house are sold or passed on to younger cousins.Enjoying the power and freedom of letting things go.

I've also been posting on one of the other threads lurking somewhere!
but seeing as though this one seems to be active for now, I'll ramble on here instead!
Of my 100 items to de-clutter in January, I've managed 7 things so far:
1-3: old out of date hot sauces from back of kitchen cupboard!
4: Crafting felt bundle - sold on eBay (although not yet paid for!)
5: L'occitane foot cream - finally used up! That stuff lasted ages!
6-7: 2 empty whiskey bottles that have been loitering in the drinks globe - recycled
I'll be on an eBaying mission over the next couple of days so fingers crossed for some sales there
Good luck to you all for a clutter free 2014 and let's hope this thread gets sorted soon! :rotfl:2015 - I am determined to lose at least 3 stone in weight and I must pay off at least one of my credit cards...If I keep telling myself, I might start believing it!!!Save £2 a day for Xmas 2015 Challenge: £56/£730:dance: HAPPY NEW YEAR - HERE'S TO A GREAT 2015 FOR US ALL! :dance:0
