I went awol for a while, then have been away for 6 days visiting family over Christmas, now back and ready for a fresh start I did manage the following in December though:

11-60 pieces of paper recycled from sorting craft room
    61-71 pieces shredded
72 - 126 Guiding items taken to a friend's house who is also a guider who has more room to store things
    127-170 Guiding rubbish/recycling
    171-174 Toiletries used up
175 - 178 homemade gifts using fabric stash
179-200 food thrown out before we went away.

So I feel I made it to about 200 in December nothing sold but I've just pleased I got through the month.

2014 really is the year I get on top of the last bits and pieces I hope.

I DO hope that 'somebody' is going to start a new thread after midnight ..................... wonder who'll be first in tomorrow .

I would love to join this thread. I have a terrible habit of starting to deciliter by bagging things up and then I move the bags from room to room rather than get rid :o

I'm getting confused with the decluttering threads.... I see 2 have been locked so are we continuing to use this one or will there be another one for 2014?

Anyway I've started the 100 items for Jan challenge, spent the morning taking the tree down and gave the living room a good clean through

    1-4 magazines ....recycle bin
    5. sweetie tub ...recycle box
    6.. broken cup...bin
    7-8 broken Christmas decs..bin
    9. cat toy, been chewed to bits..bin
    10. Out of date vitamin tablets... bin
    11. last yrs calendar... recycle bin.

Will make a start of clearing out the bureau this afternoon as unwanted rubbish has started creeping back in it since I last decluttered it.

unfortunately charlies_mum's thread has been merged into the other thread as that was started earlier and then that one's been closed, bit confused here too

I've sent a pm to pink so hopefully she'll sort us out soon :)

Thanks Rosieben, the merged thread seems to be locked, unless I'm looking at the wrong thread x
